I love visiting Buddhist temples, even though I was raised Christian I find a lot of peace and wisdom from the Monks.
That makes sense though. The monks are very spiritual beings.😊

If you ever get a chance to go to Thailand I recommend Chiang Mai, I’ve taken my daughters 3 times, beautiful country with kind gentle people. It’s my favourite place in the world and I had a poke tattoo done by a retired monk called an Arjan to represent my love of Thailand. I’m from the U.K. we’ve been to an elephant sanctuary and bathed the elephants and even zip lined through the jungle, I was 52 at the time 🤣🤣💕

The monks are quite well fed, according to the Buddha. It seems that staying away from worldly blessings in order to discipline the soul has been forgotten. 😁
Monks eat what is prepared for them.
