I feel like I have to say this, but the Dumbledore X Voldemort fight in this movie is by far the best one in the franchise. The way they use the surroundings instead of just magic elevates it above the rest, including the final fight.
I thought it looked cool too. The problem with using magic to grab stuff from the surroundings to attack your opponent is that while you're grabbing stuff your opponent can just attack you directly.
Is it possible to even notice it? I didn't even know the Longbottoms were tortured to the point of insanity. Luckily no one goes over it in this video.
Long time prep cook here , you absolutely refrigerate tomatoes not only can it make them slightly more firm and therefore easier to cut riper tomatoes. Also it helps them last longer , your grocery store refrigerates them before they go out on the floor too...
I think the removal of the prefect nominations is understated. To me it's an essential reason why Harry begins to feel so alone. Starts on the train to Hogwarts where Hermione and Ron are in the prefect carriage, and throughout the year they have prefect duties that pull them away from spending time with Harry leading to him feeling more isolated
I really hope that they (like in the Percy Jackson TV series) use the Chapter names as episode names, I absolutely need the last episodes of season. 7 to be named "The Battle of Hogwarts", "The Forest again" or "Kings Cross", and "the Flaw in the plan"
I dont know how many episodes they plan to do, but I think if it's 8 or 10 like most streaming shows these days then I think it's probably going to be weird pacing if half the season is just the last 4 chapters 😅
1:19:02 THIS! I’ve said this before openly and also was told by a literature professor that a protagonist definitionally “is a character that experiences the most change.” The juxtaposition of Harry and Neville clearly can’t be understated enough how blatant one character changes over the other.
Dumbledore doesn't reference the room of requirement in book 2. He does so in book 4 at the Yule Ball dinner during a conversation between Dumbledore and Karkarov. In this conversation about how they and only they know all the secrets of their schools, according to Karkarov, because they are the Headmasters and are blessed, among a few, to have all of the secrets revealed to them. Dumbledore refutes this by saying that once, he needed to use the bathroom very badly and was unaware of a near one ,but he found to his surprise a room nearby full of chamber pots. A room he was never able to find again. Harry overheard this conversation.
So the real story about why they muted Harry's scream is because Daniel Radcliffe had actually just lost one of his closest relatives and his screams during the take were so real that they had chose to mute it.
A lot of people do, but it ruins tomatoes' texture and makes them mealy. If produce is unrefrigerated at the store, generally you don't have to fridge it at home. Just NR trying to save your tomatoes: www.reddit.com/r/foodhacks/comments/vz49uo/tomatoes_store_in_the_refrigerator_yesno_why_or/

Just made a hot bowl of soup, came back to see this uploaded 1 minute ago. YES. Perfect lunch video! This is one of my favourite movies in the franchise because of Luna Lovegood. Had the delight of meeting Evanna Lynch a few years back and got a really personal 1 on 1 hang out with her where we discussed our love of the series for about half an hour. Evanna is one of the purest souls on this planet and I'm so happy she got to be Luna!
I'm seriously loving the fact that the most controversial thing in this video is the "you don't refrigerate tomatoes" bit hahaha! I'm from Jersey, all! Don't fight me on this! It makes them gross and mealy!
Dobby decorated the room of requirement for Christmas with banners that said "Have a very Harry Christmas" and Luna comes in as he is taking those down. They end up under some mistletoe and Harry jumps back yo which Luna says good idea, they usually have Nargals (or something to that effect) which is why Harry mentioned it to Cho.
On the newspaper, the phrase "All is well." are also the last words at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on the final page after the Epilogue.
@NewRockstars 😢 unfortunately they muted his scream because earlier that day Daniel lost a close relative, so going through that on set losing his "uncle" hit a little to close to home. Those screams are 100% authentic and they actually let him go home for the day after he finished filming the scene. 🙁 1:09:50
