Having Fun at the Thousand Oaks Chuck E. Cheese's on September 11, 2011

On the 10th anniversary of 9/11, a day that I will never forget, my 5 year old and I spent some fun time together at the Thousand Oaks Chuck E. Cheese's. You know what...adults can have just as much fun there as kids. Plenty of fun 1 token games. Colorful and noisy. My kid likes the pizza. I like the chicken ciabatta sandwich and the beer's not bad either.

Where I live, CEC used tokens until 2016. I loved coming to CEC and I would just play with the machines like crazy. I was disappointed when they started using cards.

When our kids were small, my buddy and I would take our kids and we would have a weekly skeetball competition on those lanes. Kids, get out of the way because the dads are getting very competitive here.... : )

enjoythewildUSA I wish I could do that again but sadly I'm 17 years old. and not alot of teenagers go to chuck e cheeses anymore than they did 10 years ago.

Heh heh, funny you mention that, enjoythewild. There's also several hoops machines that are fun. With beer available and decent chicken sandwiches, Chuck E. Cheese can be decent alternative to the local bar :>
