Very pretty ,I love the natural decor idea . I use to do the same on my mantle . I love adding rocks , stones and anything my kid's would pick up on our nature walks. Whatever we didn't use we would just put in a pot outside by the front door or in a basket outside as well . I used a lot of it in other seasonal decoration. Wait till you go on nature walks with your child . Your going to have so much fun with all the stuff he or she picks up :D. Thank you for your channel and the great ideas .
The moss DIY would look super cute for Easter with a little bunny ornament on top with some eggs or something. Flowers make me sneeze so I love bringing in cuts of leaves and things from my garden instead since I don't react to those. Great video as always Rachel!

Their Easter items were 75% off, so it was MUCH cheaper than I could have made it for. You are fortunate because in my town we can't pick flowers.......they belong to the town. Everything looks beautiful! Succelents are such an easy and versatile way to decorate.

Instead of a DIY video, I thought I would haul a few home decor pieces that I picked up, plus decorate around the house a bit... I'm going less polished today, and a bit more rustic with the tablescapes in this video, but I'm kinda digging it. Plus, I love that you can create an easy tablescape with herbs, branches, and plants from around your neighborhood. There are so many ways to express your personal home decor style on a budget, even if your style is totally different than mine. The key is to keep your eye out for affordable little treasures, and experiment. Hope you enjoy!

Gordmans is amazing for decor as well. Their throw pillows are around 12.99. They have a lot of great farmhouse decor as well. They are going out of business in some locations. I wish they weren't . They have amazing stuff!
......I also meant to mention that the places where you were placing the branches on the tables and using the wildflowers work so well too because you have some great rustic, chunky pieces of furniture on which to display them. I think this works particularly well. I so love your taste in furniture and have been trying to find a coffee table like yours, but so far no luck :/
I'm in college and lucky enough to have my own dorm/studio space but I can't wait to have a proper place so I can get crafty like you! I bought fresh flowers and put them in a pretty vase a couple weeks ago and I felt very Rachel ;) haha! Thanks for the video xo

For a Ladies night at our church one year, one of the women who is a decorator for very high end clients showed us how she incorporated some of these same type of ideas in her decorating. Showing us plants she would forage for and that lasted a good long while for decorating. It was so nice because everyone felt included and that they could accomplish some of these ideas and not just those with a lot of $$ to spend. Thank you for doing that here Rachel (although I have a feeling there will be those who even find something to complain about here too. I think it goes without saying to use common sense and not cut from a place that would be super obvious or in such a way that would detract from that place.) Oh, Btw, be sure to keep your moss well watered to keep it nice and green. Thanks again for all you do and pay no attention to negative nellies. You can't please everyone. or were you referring to bugs while cutting the plants?? There were some buzzing around while I was cutting, but none once I got them home.. hahah
A few of those plants she used actually repel a good majority of bugs. The rosemary is a great mosquito repellent. :)
