Mia didn't want to cut her hair but Yuehua made her cut it. She still looks better than most idols with the short hair.
I was watching their behind the scenes US tour and at one point she had dark brown hair and no makeup on and looked even better than with makeup and colored hair. Gorgeous.
Im so happy to have EVERGLOW back. But to be honest I'm still angry with their agency YUEHUA. Not only did they make MIA cut her hair regardless of the fact mia wasn't comfortable cutting it. But they dropped the MV TWO HOURS LATE! I really hope they start treating these girls like the superstars they are, they deserve all the love and respect the world has to offer. I hope we get more consistent comebacks for them as well, its more than deserved..
Yes Yuehua should get blamed overall BUT need to clarify that the MV should have dropped on time IF Stone Music Ent. did THEIR job. It wasn't Yuehuas fault but the distributor. 6pm KST all Yuehuas uploaded on Weibo/EG's own channel(with audio) was ON time except the distributors who didn't upload "earlier"
They should resign with YG. That would put the 3 greatest girl groups on Earth under the same label: Blackpink, BabyMons7er, & Everglow. Also, YG knows how to promote their female artists . They should be as successful as Blackpink right now and with the YG marketing they would be. Also their girl crush style, gorgeousness, sweet / badass, style of music, and style of MVs are right up YG style.
They comeback with meaningful lyrics and strong rapping style.

I think she always an extrovert. but just yuehua didn't promote them well and give more content or variety show so we can't really see everglow's member personality
I noticed during the showcase she definitely talked a lot more than the other members
sad for Yiren after controversy she become more introvert, she must carefull everyhing she act cause many hyenas want to grab and bite her
It seems you don't really follow eg.. From onda time at idol school and then debut time at Everglow, she is introvert.. Her lack of confidence was noticeable, and it was not because of the agency.. In fact, she grew here..
I'm glad they sticked with their sound and not go with the trend nowadays in 4th gen. Ngl those y2k vibes had its time but I think it's time for something different. The music along with the mv reminds me of 2nd or 3rd gen music which is a win for me (got into kpop in near end 2nd gen into 3rd gen). If noise music is what they are making then I'm proud of myself for liking noise music.
And I can see this music in clubs and parties

First comeback for me and it was mind blowing. E:U? Sheeeeeeesh, she got my attention from the get goin this one, god damn her rap, i can't with this, she got me in a chokehold frfr. Idk what to feel after watching this one tbh. I am absoutely speechless rn. This has to be the one of the best mvs i have ever seen in kpop. One of the best buildups and drops. They were gone for 1 year and they came back with a BANGER like this!?!?!? They know how to come in HOT for sure. One thing to note is that the girl with the short hair named Mia was forced to cut her hair by the company but she didn't want too. At first i didn't like it as well, but when the mv dropped and i saw her in short hair, i liked it. EVERGLOW FOREVER LETS GO. ❤👏👏👏🥰 THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCITING REACTION. .

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but SLAY sounds like it could be a song they've already made. Like it's so EVERGLOW that it sounds like... EVERGLOW, you know? The reason I think this could be a bad thing is because the industry has sort of moved on from similar like music, so perhaps people might reject this. (I hope not) I think there are enough people are excited for EVERGLOW's return that maybe people won't sleep on this, so we'll have to wait and see. They have stiff competition now with some big hitters like aespa and Jihyo coming out at the same time, but a big return like this might give them an edge. Like I said, we'll have see what happens as time goes on.
For my personal opinion, I'm just glad our girls are officially back, and it's not another goddamn dance cover. I think Yuehua were so enamored with Yena they forgot EVERGLOW existed. I know it's not true, but it almost felt like they decided to let EVERGLOW go after the Hate Rodrigo disaster blew up in their faces. They sent Yena to Japan and was like "Mia, get a hair cut and get on stage." Like I said, that's complete speculation.
Your speculation isn’t completely wrong. Companies do this all the time, whenever they get a new artist/group they tend to ignore the previous groups. I didn’t know they sent Yena to Japan but it’s a good move. She needs to recover from that controversy.

Fun Fact : Mia's hair was not her choice, the company forced her to cut her hair that short for the comeback. She even confirmed it herself on a vlive that she was uncomfortable for the idea but she also wants the comeback to be possible considering their long hiatus.
Yessss it's really so good to see the GIRLS back and that's the most important at the end of the day!! 100% agree that Everglow is SO UNDERRATED. If I were asked who the most underrated group is I'd name them without hesitation. I will also never be ok that La Di Da is one of the greatest kpop songs in history but won no awards.
