It’s too bad Milroe had that rough stretch. He could be in the heisman conversation even more so. I came on here and commented about how bad that stretch was but it looks maybe like he’s starting to trend back upwards. I sure hope he’s starting to put it together for the home stretch because he is a like able guy. Staying consistent is key. Also, let’s all appreciate Jihaad Campbell while we have him because he is playing himself into the first round as a potential top 15 pick.
If we want him to win the Heisman: First thing that needs to happen is Alabama needs to go to the SEC Championship game and win it; and second is the players, in front of him of the Heisman watch list, to have as much of a rough stretch as Milroe did. That's a really slim chance. I don't think it's worth it in my opinion.

Our run game is still a work in progress. Whenever we block well our RBs hit the wrong hole. Our RBs also aren’t seeing the cut back lanes. All season our RBs have been missing holes and cutback lanes. RTR

@ well I did play college ball, I coached HS. Ive been studying film for close to 19 years now. And on film im seeing holes and cutback lanes the RBs aren’t seeing. That’s all I’m saying. Then I’m seeing our guys hit the C gap when the play is designed to go B gap. Whenever RBs get wide on inside runs it helps the LBs on defense.

Jimmy - Harry Gilmer came in 5th in the Heisman voting twice - in 1945 and 1947; Bryce Young won in 2021 and finished 6th in 2022. So Milroe would be the second to finish in the top ten in consecutive years, and the third to finish twice in the top ten, impressive still.
I am hoping that Milroe will start hitting these deep shots that he has been missing of late. Need more production from Haynes and Miller on the ground. If Bama runs through these last two games, like they did the previous three games, then I have confidence in them if they were to make it to the SEC Championship game.
As it relates to whether Bama can play its way out of the Playoffs by going to the SEC Championship, the answer is look at what happened to Georgia last year.

Truth is Jam and Justice are not homerun hitters. They dont have that top end speed or burst. Would love to see Richard Young Riley & Hill. Rileys extremely explosive but theres more to being an SEC rb than just speed. Catching out the backfield & blocking are just as important. If we can hold onto AK DEAR he's got that gear that Josh Jacobs Tj Yeldon, N.Harris, Bo Scarborough, B-Rob, , K.Drake, J.Gibbs have. Jam & Justice are more E.Lacy Damien Harris G.Coffe type runners

Listen to this show everyday driving to work never comment but I have a few things if they read them I'd like to bring up. 1 why not go to sec championship I feel like how we are playing right now we can beat anyone and that would give us a 1st round bye Noone is talking about that. 2 the running backs look so bad because they have people already in the backfield when they get the ball and we don't stick with it enough to develop a rhythm. If we needed to eat clock and committed to running we would see them eat.

Style points matter, especially with 5 or so 2 loss SEC teams vying for the playoffs. You cannot score too many points.
