that is dependent on the rules and regulations of your local government. you will have to check with your state or county... but realistically if you don't drive like an asshole I don't think anyone's ever going to pull u over
The pricing you mentioned does not reflect the cost of gas over the life of the vehicle. Gas over the life of a similar gas motorcycle could easily amount to $1000s of dollars. The cost to charge this bike is negligible, pennies on the dollar. Probably will cost under $500 for the same amount of miles until end of life.

In WA state, yes. And the registration and plate fees were insane. Almost $500.
