I’m so happy to see how you single handedly making us fall in love with Guyana all over again.
That means a lot, thank you ❤️ It's an honour to showcase my favourite parts of Guyana
See, SO MUCH was left out when Gordon Ramsey went to Guyana, great stuff as usual
A friend of mine lived there for a social cause (Great man) and all that he shared made and makes me believe that Guyana is the virgin destination of the world!
It was an pleasure working with you Chef 👨🍳 Dev!
The pleasure was all mine brother! Thank you for being a part of this 🙏🏾
This is asome for 🇬🇾 thanks chef dev u make 🇬🇾 proud of exclusive eggball we will be ready to serve each and everyone that visits this beautiful national
Love your Guyana adventures. I migrated to Canada in 1977 and I swear I could not eat the food. I was given a good talk by an uncle that I have to ear the meat to withstand the fierce winter, but I could not digest it. I was adamant to travel back to Guyana, only to full my suitcase with Guyana’s food. I feel it is the best food. You made my mouth water with all the great food you sample. Enjoy. Peace and blessings
Thanks for watching, it was an honour to showcase the incredible food Guyana has to offer
Amazing! Never seen Guyana like this before.
This was epic for Guyana culture and cuisine, thank you for showering the world what a beautiful country Guyana is. Love the backdrop of you cooking on the beach……great job👏🏾

Chef Dev!!! Well done!!! Amazing documentary, I didn't want it to end!!! 🇬🇾 ❤ Love Love Love how you portrayed Guyanese cuisine and the part when you highlighted the fireside's history and maintenance was epic!!! 🥰 😍
Watched your video with great interest, all the way from Bangkok, Thailand. My anceetors are from Fiji. Both our histories are similar, with British bringing the Indian indentured laborers. Food and language are identical.
First time here and 5 mins into the video I am
Impressed with the quality. Great job. I appreciate your showcasing Guyana. Made me home sick and I am due for visit after 15 years.
Thank u for showcasing the people, food, country, and lifestyle of Guyana!
Following you from Burnsville, Minnesota. Awesome job cuz, Devon Rajkumar. We are so proud of you. Love you.
The pickle mango on the old relic is priceless. Let’s renovate it and do a floating bar. Call it the Pickled Mango Shipwreck.
Chef Dev and chef Delvin loved you both my favorite guys.🇬🇾🇨🇦💕
Devan, this is awesome! I'm Indian and always wanted to visit Guyana and the rest of the Caribbean. Till such time I can do that, I'll just have to satisfy myself with these masterpieces. Thanks for posting this!
I love how raw and almost unfiltered this video is. Thanks chef Dev.
I have watched so many videos' of Guyana and by far this is the best. bar none! All Guyanese are fighting to move to North America and other European countries not realizing what the have their: best weather year round; health natural food year round, Guyana is a gem by it self! I have to visit the back yard café when I come to visit Guyana, saw the guy on a Gordon Ramsey show and looks like he knows his stuff!
@@chefdevanofficial I am in NY and I haven't been back in 30 years, the problem with most TH-cam videos is they are all showing country, country, what happened with the GT life style? Isn't there great restaurant, bars and clubs anymore?
Real nice guyana 🇬🇾 everything is fresh the food is so tasty wow that is awesome 👌
I hope you can go back and experience the interior. Although mainstream, it would be great to see some proper pepperpot and cook up rice done right. Much love 🇬🇾🇨🇦🇺🇲.
Amazing. Loved every second of this video. The markets are places I love to go when I am in Guyana. The hustle of the venders never gets old. I love my country
Thanks for watching! Such a pleasure to showcase the markets in this video
Amazing video Devan, the production quality was fantastic, felt like I was watching a TV show. I'm Trinidadian and I love to learn about Guyana's beautiful culture. Looking to see more of these!
Guyanese local or native dishes can be best described as boil everything till its soft...when its soft its done.
Great video! I couldn't get enough....wish it was 4 hours long.
Amazing!
As for the Backyard Cafe, we tried to find it when we were there but no luck. Next time.
Incredible Tribute to our homeland, Thank you for the insight and deliciousness!

Natural fire foods allways taste best . ie..jandi and wedding house food's.
Lots of love to Chef Devan and Chef Delvin Adams, love the soup and fry fish, wiri pepper is the best. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful video, always love my beautiful Guyanese food, so happy you went back to Guyana to show the amazing food ❤️👌🙌
Loved your video showcasing beautiful Guyana and the various foods. I love egg ball - it’s my favourite snack. The markets are always bustling. The varied price for hassa was hilarious and I guess no explanation 🤣🤣 Was hoping to see Berbice - maybe your next trip. Great footage - keep up the great job promoting our Guyanese foods/culture.

I cant wait to visit soon. All the fresh fish, fruits--omg..meh mouth wata😀
As a Guyanese living in Calgary, I appreciate the tour and food showcase, thanks Dev!!
Chef
Muito bom seu canal!
Adorei as dicas!
😃
Gorgeous video. I've never lived near the Caribbean or even any Guyanese communities, so the cuisine draws a total blank for me, but I love learning about it. Chicken foot and offal have special places in my heart from eating them in East Asian dishes, so I can only imagine how sumptuous they are here... especially that curry sheep... ooooh looks good.
It's awesome to see from start to finish; the locations, the markets, the wood stove, the street foods. Just don't laugh if the best I can do is toss a tomato in the fireplace, okay? Lol
It was an incredible trip! So honoured to share my experience with everyone. Fire-roasted tomatoes are delicious ;) haha
Nice way to share the food culture in Guyana, makes us want to visit even more! We'll done, hoping @Netflix makes this a series.
I am watching from India , Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Nice video. Got to know many things about Guyana's food. People might have left India but took aachar with them. Love from India.
We get wari wari peppers here in Toronto. You can also grow here in Ontario during the summer.A guy from guyana grow brad leaf thyme all year long.Canadian squash is longer than guyanese squesh.
