太鼓芸能集団 鼓童
太鼓是有无限节奏可能性的传统日本鼓。 鼓童的使命是探索这些可能性，并在过程中为这满是生活力的艺术形式开拓新天地。
在日语中，「鼓童」（Kodo）一词有双重含义。它可以被翻译成“心跳”，是所有节奏的根源。大太鼓的声音让人联想到子宫里的婴儿感受到母亲的心跳，并可在它如雷鸣的振动声中安然入睡。在另一语境下「鼓童」也可是指“鼓的孩子”的意思，道出鼓童这个团体想用淳朴的孩子的心来击鼓的愿望。
自1981年在柏林艺术节首次亮相以来，鼓童已在五大洲52个国家进行了6,500多场演出，其中包括4,000场以《同一个地球》为主题的演出来体现鼓童跨越语言和文化范筹的愿望，以及与观众共享人类相互的纽带。
此外，鼓童通过 《交流学校公演》 演出与日本数以千计的学童交流合作。鼓童又广泛参与其他的项目和活动，包括在主要的国际艺术节领衔演出、为电影配乐、以及与全球众多世界级艺术家合作。
2019年7月，鼓童在上海，广州和北京巡演由日本人间国宝坂东玉三郎导演的 《螺旋》，获高度的赞誉评价。

That must be the most amasing feeling...to have each one know the other so well and trust the sound in that moment that glides where you didn't memorize the rythmn or notes but they become a part of you like breathing and every person plays of the next without thought or effort as one. That technique where they use one bachi to go back and forth rapidly between both sides of the drum always blows my mind. That looks super difficult, but they make it look so effortless.
