I know they're not blood related or anything like that, but it's the fact that England took America in and raised him on his own that makes me look at their relationship as brotherly, not romantic. Maybe this is just me, but I think the idea of falling in love with someone you essentially raised as your younger sibling and watched grow up is just a TAD weird.
I'm not big in the UsUk pairing, because the fact that they have so much history as brothers or father and son. They might not be related by blood, but you can't come out of raising someone from toddler to almost teenaged years without getting as close blood brothers or the like.

And they may have histories like a father or brother but do they treat themselves like they were like that? They're not blood-related, and they don't even age. They live forever, after all, They don't need an age. Other than that, I can see them as a ship since it's my otp but I respect other's as well. Other's don't appeal to me because I think personality will attract the most, not how they act towards each other. After all, U.S.A. and UK have a special bond, or so history compared to others. They show their emotions towards each other greatly compared to the others in the anime, not in reality. Other then that I can say other ships are great, again, this is my opinion ^^

My goodness some of the USUK fans are finally opening their eyes to see that this story has two sides and not just one. It really should be easy to understand if you payed attention to your history class, I personally am a U.S. History nut even before discovering Hetalia and I love this video so much because of the imagery of this war is spoken out much clearer and it finally gets ignorant people that are to lazy to open up a simple book on US history to really see how conflicting this war was for America himself and how he did NOT want this war in the first place. But I guess my knowledge will be unnoticed by the blissfully ignorant masses.
