Mike, when u said that thing about people complaining about the volume of TH-cam videos, often times it’s really annoying when the TH-cam video is super quiet so you have to increase your volume but then when the ads come on, the ads are blasting at full vol and you have to keep going back and forth. Just thought I would say , love the pod!
True it happens all the time, also sometimes you’re at work and allowed to have headphones but noise from machines or ppl chatting can make it hard to listen to at work when the audio is too quiet

I had a 5 lb. Calico cat, very loving, saved my life. I was in the kitchen & she kept jumping on my legs & turned & ran, didn't follow, she came back jumped again until I followed her to the bedroom. In the middle of the bed was a 4 inch flame from a short in an electric blanket, just caught in time,she also had a litter & jumped on the bed to get me, wouldn't have her babies unless my hand was on her, loved that cat!!!
I came here to say this podcast is soooo underrated and I see a few agree. I’m sure there will be several saying the same. We love all you guys here in keystone heights Florida! 🤟🏼
For sure underrated podcast. I watched the first one just to pass the time, but I found myself really enjoying most topics, and I really like the idea of starting each episode with a topic because it always brings the conversation back around. 10/10 all around 🎉

I don’t think mega stars like Beyoncé or Taylor or even Ed Sheeran belong in conversations about being overrated. They’ve all been in the industry for over a decade and have managed to stay on top, they’re perfectly rated for what they are and enjoyed by the masses.
starbucks barista here!!! mike is right, lighter (blonde) roasts do have more caffeine than the medium & dark roasts, i recommend veranda blonde roast for drip coffee, and blonde espresso over regular in any latte, cappuccino, macchiato, etc. :) 😊
Matt, you 100% would fit in & enjoy a smart car to drive around town. The newer models are so roomy. My mother in law has FOUR of them (she’s crazy) haha. My husband is 6’3 and I’m 5’10 and they’re surprisingly roomy and so fun and funny to drive around town in! They have the same amount of space as an average car just with no backseat. Go for it and live your smart car dream!!! They actually aren’t cramped like you’d think they would be

Good Influences is starting to become one of my favorite podcasts. The chemistry between Carly, Erin, Matt and Mike, creates great conversations I always enjoy listening to. They are so funny and the positive vibes makes them really good influences lol but, I don’t like how they chose which topic is overrated or underrated. They didn’t seem to take into consideration how each topic would be rated in general but basically rated the things themselves. Which was a little annoying and seemed misleading to me. For an example, Taylor Swift is generally rated as a really good artist/singer and sometimes as a top tier artist/singer which is why I’d say she is overrated. I like her but don’t think she should be praised as a top 5 or 10 artist in her genre. Idk, I could be totally wrong tho. I didn’t mean to write a whole review but love all the other episodes lol
My cat names Aries acts more like a dog and he’s like the sweetest cat to people he likes when he first meets them but to the owners man he cuddles hard like we have to push him off sometimes to breathe. And he’s a big cat but so sweet like he loves to be spooned or cuddled in general or kisses because it goes back and forth from owner to cat to them cat to owner. I’m not big on cats but this one is my favorite and I wouldn’t change him for the world. I love you guys and good job on the podcast it’s amazing seeing you guys!!
Bad news Matt, from people I've known that quit smoking...that desire to pick it back up *never* goes away! I know 2 people that have stopped for over 20 years and have heard both of them say if they could start smoking again safely they would in a heartbeat. They are the *worst*...
The thing I love about this podcast is when Matt goes off on his opinions or whatever everyone else responds with humor of making fun of him and doesn’t take it too seriously. I appreciate that response rather than everyone getting defensive which can come off bad as practically arguing. Love the friendship dynamic here! Im constantly feel bad because my cat will want to cuddle and I have to go to class, and Know I'm not the only one that does this. Cats are beautiful souls and I do agree that if more people weren't initially turned off to the idea (due to the "cat lady" stereotype and other social criticisms), and keep an open mind, that they might find they're actually a cat person more than a dog person. Its also about meeting the right animal either it be dog or cat because every little guy is different.

I’m just back from NYC, literally last night. My first time ever in America… it is FUCKING CRAZY. Times Square was so overwhelming. I’m glad I went and thought it was great but like… I’m so happy to be back in my small little town in Ireland. There isn’t a moments peace or quiet in New York, constant honking, sirens, shouting, music blaring.
