Hightown, Northfield and Longham lakes, representing the Ringwood club water. I have literally had similar success fishing the day swim on Northfield, I can resignate with this video a lot 🤙🏻 very lucky man to fish Milton Abbas, whare the likes of Martin bowler fish that lake is still in my dreams ever since it was a Blandford club water very jealous. Top work though nice back story behind the success specially comming from and growing up fishing in the same areas 👍🏻
mega carp you had ... talking about being obbsesed or passioned about your angling, well I am been doing it for 39 years now and I am still as keep as years ago ...
Thanks glad you enjoyed it - you could add the swivel first, I think this is just the way Jonny has gotten used to tying the rig with that particular loop knot.
Great video. I don’t like crimps so make my booms the same way. The knot is called a perfection loop. Used extensively in fly fishing. 😎

Reminds me of Robbie Gillespie back in the day on the Northwest estate lakes.👍
Another good lad, and proper good angler is Robbie.
Some lovely fish you’ve caught!
He's done really well on limited time - some lovely fish in that area.
Well done buddy , nice video 😊
Thanks - Jonny is a top lad.

That was a good watch, would it not be easier to tie the boom to the swivel before attaching the hook to the swivel?
