Katya, with that quick mention of Shalimar, took me back to my mom! Now I am an old broad of 47, and now and fragrances and strong odors are one trigger of my migraines, so I live on memories, unless it's lighter and doesn't last. She had a bottle of Shalimar sitting on her dresser, and I always thought it was so pretty. It was next to her bottles of Chanel no5, White Diamonds (hello 1980's!), Poison, and one she didn't use, an old bottle from the 40's of Evening in Paris that she got when her mom passed in the early 80's. Love it when just one unexpected word can make you smile.
