Dear Dan/Dansai, I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your videos and craftsmanship. While I have not yet reached your age, at 64 I am not exactly a spring chicken anymore. I have always enjoyed the Japanese culture (have several Japanese friends in Japan as well as here in the US, mainly scientific colleagues and their families) and have intensely enjoyed my visits to the country (Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara etc). I feel I have taken Bonsai up as a hobby way too late in life, but with encouragements through channels like yours, I will try to do my best to make something out of it. The learning curve will be steep, I realize that..... but I still have (hopefully) plenty of time left. Very best wishes. Andy

Thanks for your kind comments. Years ago when I was invited to the USA to conduct a bonsai workshop, one of the participants was 92 years old - Amazing! It made my day. So Andy you've still got a lot of years ahead and can enjoy a great deal of bonsai fun. BTW, I'm still growing from seeds. Good luck with your trees.

Absolutely love your visions, while making a few concrete pot designs I was pointed toward your work.
Wish you many more years of artistic wonder.

I was laughing so hard at 7:36 because that`s exactly the same problem I had , in a facility exactly like you describe it.
It was my first pot ever, just two moths ago, and it's far from perfection... but I love it!
Greetings from Germany & Thank you for the inspiration
