Hello! I’m a fairly new knitter and loving it. As momwho has had 2 children, thank you for being a labor & delivery nurse. I am studying for a group fitness trainer certification! I retired early and am pursuing this as well as a yoga certification. This was a fun video! I love the Little Dahlia. So very sweet . I just bought a skein of the sock yarn you showed at a local yarn shop here in Colorado while we’re on vacation! I finished the project I brought with me. It’s a gorgeous yarn, right? Omg that Cumulus tee color is amazing! Your knits are stunning! As someone who has recently frogged something, I’m all for frogging because I don’t want a garment I made in my closet that I won’t wear. And especially because you love love the yarn 🥰
Thank you so much for watching and for your sweet words! The yarn is so gorgeous! I hope you love whatever you make with it :) And I totally agree about frogging! I'd much rather frog and reknit than have a beautiful sweater that doesn't fit taking up space in my closet. The yarn deserves to be reused!
Agnete cardigan is so beautiful, wearable and minimalistic, I am sure its worth the effort. I wanted to knit it, but chose another pattern instead, also from a danish designer "For the love of Brioche Jacket", and it turned out so beautiful! Loving your podcast and looking forward to a new episode!
Thank you so much! It really is a gorgeous sweater that will be easy to wear a lot once it's finished. I just added that pattern to my favorites on Ravelry - I love the pocket details!
hi! I stumbled across your videos on the discovery page. Your books look like such good reads. I also used to knit and quit for a couple years after some overwhelm and stated again several months ago. Excited to have a new podcast to watch!
Thank you so much for watching! I'm sure book recommendations/reviews are soon to join the channel! My knitting took a very similar course recently but I'm excited to be back. It's such a fun hobby to have!
Hi from Pennsylvania! If you frog the sweater, put it in the freezer before you frog! It’ll make the mohair easier to frog. (When it warms up during the process-freeze it again over and over til you’re done frogging!)
I really enjoyed this video - my goodness, you are a busy lady! I also used to be midwife (UK) - we have to cover all aspects of ante and postnatal care as well as labour and delivery. At one time (LONG time ago, we lived near Seattle for over a year - happy memories.
Hey, Morgan! Neighbor here, too… about 30 minutes SE of Seattle! Love all your knits. Maybe with the Auer sweater, you could (using slightly smaller needles) pick up a round of stitches up the sleeve (like you do for afterthought heels on socks), cut off the sleeve, switch back to your regular needles, and then knit downward to the length you want? You could even graft to the existing cuff, maybe, or just reknit it? I know the stitches will be facing the opposite direction of your original stitches, but it saves a bunch of time. Just a suggestion! Take care!
Hi neighbor! :) I'm also SE of Seattle. I think I've decided to frog it! I think it sounds like more work to try to fix the sleeve because there were just so many increase rows. Thank you for the suggestion!
Using a sweater that you love to measure as you go with bottom up sweaters really helps. One with the same shoulder construction is ideal, but not mandatory.
Great tip! The body fortunately worked out really well, but I would have had to totally reconstruct the sleeve pattern to make it work. I'm going to frog and work up another pattern!
Morgan, hello my neighbor okay few miles between us but always nice to meet or watch another from WA, I too work in the medical field and can completely understand, it can be overwhelming, esp in more recent yesrs. Don't give up, you're appreciated and you're helping support so many in the labor& delivery services (always wanted to be in that dept but have done Emergency or Provider's office.. and such.) I enjoyed the episode and wanted to say I'm hello, always appreciate making new friends &finding a s good podcast to enjoy (ty) you've got some beautiful yarns and projects. Can't wait to see more episodes, do you have any special projects in mind for 2025 even if a long term background project? Or plan on gifting handmade items for the holidays? Tskecare and have fun with your beautiful projects, they're looking great the sunset sweatshirt -love that rustic orange, totally been feeling the fall vibes and being near thr coast its come early for me
I do have lots planned for 2025! When it comes to gift knitting, I mostly do it for friend's babies because they work up so quickly. Thanks so much for watching!
Went through my Ravelry favorites and only found one sweater to substitute for the Auer pullover and that would be the Oslo sweater by Petite knits. It is a Dk weight and oversized - I thought thats what you said with the two yarns held together. The collar is double but you can do single although i love the collar detail on the Oslo. What ever you decide I'm sure it will be beautiful. Love the combination of colors you picked too.
See and I know you’re my vibe cause girl it’s 6am and you’re responding to comments. She’s a professional 💅🏻 😂❤. Loveeeeee all the wips. Cannot wait to see if you do the Halloween or ravens.

Great first video !!!👏Enjoyed knitting on my Zipper sweater while listening to you😁 Can't wait for what's ahead !!
Thank you so much! :) The zipper sweater is one in my queue! Such a classic, wearable pattern.

This is such a great tip! I will definitely be doing this when I go to frog :) I've heard frogging mohair can be tricky!
