@@goosedeathable it’s easier than that. I bought a $170 DC stick welder at harbor freight that does pretty decent. The entire welding setup including the welder and an auto darkening mask was $300. Gloves, rods, sleeves, apron, slag hammer, wire brushes, welder and welding mask all for under $300. Not to mention that welder plugs straight up to a regular outlet. People think it’s hard and expensive to get into welding, but really it’s that $300, buying a $30 grinder, finding some scrap at a junk yard and watching a few TH-cam videos. That’s plenty to get you started.
