Yeah, problem is that Ban doesn’t really fit on the meta humans team. The team’s prolly gonna be Arthur, Escanor, and Naofumi with Liz or Red Roxy backline. For ppl who didn’t summon on Gowther (me) he could fit on a Sins team, but honestly just run humans at that point.
Why nobody talks about the possibility of the new escanor to work on the goddess team ? like Gelda and Sigurd both work with demons, Freyja works with goddess (only in snake, I know). I mean, Light Ban works with fairies and the second Light Liz works with humans...
Gelda works with demons because she’s Zeldris’ wife or something. Freyja works with goddesses because she’s a Norse god. I don’t see Escanor working on goddesses because he didn’t have any special relationship or lore with the goddesses and didn’t even have any special interactions with Elizabeth. Even tho he has Mael’s Grace, I don’t see that as a valid reason for his kit to work with goddesses.

And to be perfectly fair, there is both people who didnt max 1 of the 2 and people who didn't max both. I wish Mael's relic was out for this chaos battle, it would have been amazing to see Mael, Light Goddess Liz, 3rd Anni Light Liz (two attack cards) together to see his full potential (all attack card focused)

Also, really bothered a lot by the fact we have niche merlin, worthless red liz, normal banner red freiya, unnecessary valenti, etc But actually useful units like Blue Liz and to an extent Green Elatte are not voted enough... Feels like people just click random shit whether than units that are used (*cough* so many votes on Meli even tho we 100% already know he will be in banner either way as he is presented on the images in the game even without watching Nag videos)
Due to the fact that the most voted non-festival unit was red margaret indicates that a lot of players are dealing with the snake boss, maybe is the same reason that mael has a lot of votes
This is why i want netmarble to do the cursed by light movie in grand cross cuz supreme deity would buff goddess team tremendously ive seen cringe demon team enough for one life time let the goddess team reign supreme as they should for awhile
Mael gives more stuff to the goddess team and he recived a good relic recently (and he has a good grace too, and if he comes to the banner you have the chance to max his ultimate)

As an f2p who thankfully has 6/6 ban, it doesn’t bother me much personally, but considering the festival is gonna be Escanor, it’s gonna be hell for newer players who wanna run Humans/Sins
I voted Ban even tho i had him 6/6 since his release, but he have been so useful to me for in stuff like guild boss, story, mini bosses and especially in Hero arena and Chaos PvP. I wanted more ppl to get him especially the newer players

i havent played since after purgatory meli/light escanor and havent had a chance to get anyone in this banner but i really wanted Ban because i made an Arthur team. Luckily i got gelda, Arthur and i tried to get hell in gowthers banner and got gowther. I also got the new shield hero units. No matter what this banner will be really good for me as i will go for everyone tbh ill have around 800 gems when the banner drops i hope i get lucky as for the collab my luck was extremely bad.

Mael's biggest saving grace (pun intended) is literally his grace. Ban is cool and all but when you're using him, you're going to give him Mael's link anyway.

Crit defense is stacked much more than 80%, I don't know what nag is yapping about. The real reason why mael is better is that it's a 50% crit damage vs 20% attack and if you already have fitoria and ban with double crit damage giving a unit 50% crit damage on a 600% crit damage card is worse than 20% damage
I don't have ban or mael but I pulled hel in gowthers banner so could get more dupes but I'd much rather prefer ban but If I get madl I can finally build my goddes tean for snake I have every goddes character needed for snake other than him

Well Mael is 10 times more useful than Ban. He's a strong Link, irreplaceable in goddess team, strong and usable in both PvE and PvP. Ban can be replaced with other Human even in Arthur team and completely useless in PvE other than Guild boss which isn't important.
Imma tell you, I have ban 1/6 and he really isn't it. He gets 15 percent more attack related stats from being 6/6 and that makes the difference Really often. If you have Naofumi you are better of using Naofumi, Arthur and The new Escanor coming out

The Goddesses haven't shown up in 4KoA, so the team will fall off due to a lack of units just like fairies and giants.
I spend money frequently in the game but I would say what I have experienced so far that you actually get alot of gems in the game pretty quickly tbh.

mael 6/6 destroys anything with all stats decreased and block effects, ban no, and ban works with debuffs, eventually he decreases rank
