    Thanks for the vids. I have purchased two computers (CF-19 and CF-53) from you over the past years. Additionally, you have changed my three toughbooks from Win 7 to Win 10. Couldn't be happier with your service. Thanks again. PS look at all those beautiful CF-31s on the shelf behind you! Nice.

    A request. do you sell parts for the FZ-M1 ? I have two of them and love them but one of them has the bulk barcode scanner on the back. I would like to remove it and put the normal smooth cover on the back. Can I buy this from you? (and a few of the little black screws as well only have 4 of them)

      Hi Nerys, unfortunately we do not (and this is not a service we offer). I would try Amazon or eBay for the part if you were set on replacing it yourself, but if you need extra help, our contact-Monica Kirby at Heartland Customer Solutions- can assist you as well. Her number is 913-685-8855. Hope this helps.

    • @Bobjohnson
      @Bobjohnson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I am aware of you would need to download the drivers that you need from panasonic's website. All that you will need is to reference the full model number of your toughpad.

    Hi Bob, I have the same one but I wanted to increase it from 128 to 256 and the staff that supported me uploaded it to Windows 10. How can I recover the original state of the tablet since it doesn't work in the same way?

    • @Bobjohnson
      @Bobjohnson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im not sure exactly what you are asking. If you need to go back to windows 7 for example you would need to reload the tablet. If in fact you upgraded the hard drive then your restore partition is no longer available you would need to obtain a copy of windows 7 to reload you unit. I hope this helps a little. Hi Bob, I purchased this device from a company online and it came with the barcode scanner. I would like to get rid of the barcode scanner and would like to know if you or Panasonic carry the flush back parts to this device. Also, would like to see a video of it being done. Thanks.

    Hi Bob, I got fz-M1 that have bios password. As I understand, if I take the RTC battery out it will reset the bios to factory settings. Where I can find the RTC battery in the FZ-M1 ?? Thanks.

    • @Bobjohnson
      @Bobjohnson  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ludar Family, we don't recommend doing this simply because it is easy to possibly "brick" the motherboard.

    Hi Gents,
    Do you have any instructions for replacing WWAN cards in these machines? I cant seem to find any instructions online for this.
    Help would be appreciated :)

      YES PLEASE. I put my sim card in but the tablet refuses to recognize that I even put the sim card in it. I would REALLY love to have cellular internet on my M1

    • @Porty1119
      @Porty1119 ปีที่แล้ว

      The wireless card can be replaced; it requires fairly extensive disassembly of the tablet. I've done it before on FZ-G1s.

    How do you install a fresh os on the tough pad?

    • @Bobjohnson

      We used a network boot.

    • @nerys71
      @nerys71 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can download a "media creation tool" from microsoft. it will generate a USB Bootable installation drive for you (it works fine I just used it literally moments ago) you will also of course need all the M1 drivers as well. I installed windows 10.
      You may need to go into bios setup and "enable" USB BOOT. then you just pop in the usd drive and turn it on.
