I used to get it all the time on my lunch break. The restaurant is no more but I will never forget that casserole. I’ve yet to taste anything comparable. Unfortunately, my ex-husband didn’t like squash so, during our 17 yrs of marriage, I never attempted to make it. Now, my fiancé doesn’t like it either!😭 But u know what? To heck with anyone else! I’m gonna make this for myself! TYSM for posting! This recipe looks darn close to what I’m craving!😁🎉

Yes Gina I have had squash casserole my mother makes it and it's awesome she puts cream of chicken soup and hers and if you have is zucchini or two laying around and have nothing else to mix with it she'll throw them in there and it's awesome thank you and God bless you happy holidays to you and your family

I absolutely positively love squash and zucchini casserole. My Ya-Ya always made squash fried in the pan with bacon and sausage when I was growing up and back then I thought that it was nasty!!! I had to wait until I became an adult to fall in love with squash. I've never made it like this but I would definitely try it. This reminds me a little bit of my zucchini (or summer squash) pie made with onions, cheese & Italian spices with a crust made from crescent rolls. I'm going to have to try your squash casserole because I love every ingredient in it. From now on, I'm also going to drain my squash--I can't believe I haven't done that in the past. Ok, so I followed ur recipe to the t, I did tweek a little, I added mushrooms, I did 1/2 c of cheddar and 1/2c pepperjack ....SO FLIPPN GOOD

I love yellow squash I always eat with rice with salt and pepper so good and zucchini too they kinda similar in taste and shape.
