it's Faith in God that will deliver you . I smoked for 54 years had a heart attack . But one day my faith in God stopped me in the middle of the morning I fell on my knees and started crying and the holly spirit was right there with me I had never felt that much from God then that moment . I could of walked on water that moment . I had 12 packs of cigarettes in my drawer I said to my self should I go and sell them and get my money back ? I was told to throw them in the trash there are not good for any one .
I was delivered on that moment through FAITH IN GOD. . AMEN
I apologize for the dumb comment I left last week to mister Stanley I know that addictions are addictions but God is greater than any Addiction on Earth
The Lord helped me with strongholds. I always go to Psalm 23.

I prayed every time I was tempted to eat and was able to lose. I am studying the Bible, getting closer to God, and realizing how important this relationship is compared to anything else. These lessons help ( more than you know ).

Simple and effective . I was thinking of Psalm 34 before he said it, ty brother for the reminder I pray we all put this in practice. The word of God is our strength a light to our path.
We live in a time and society that we can't break free of sins, strongholds, habits, hence our continuous sins and not heed the consequences of and the price for which we will pay.
Turn to the word of God and let God deliver me.
Dear Jesus my cousin Brittany and I just had a conversation about quitting smoking last night. I've been asking God for help with this now for a long time. I know this is God's will working for me getting my attention. I pray in your name father that you help us and give us the strength to put these stupid cigarettes down and never pick them up again that we get to the cause of why we smoke and we understand the trigger so the devil doesn't win and we don't have a weak moment and pick up another cigarette. Please Lord please hear my prayer please help us in your name Jesus I pray amen

We love mormons , but we also recognize the deep divide between your theology and every other church. Jesus is not Lucifer's brother, he is not a spiritual offspring of Heavenly father. The God of Israel, the father, son, and holy spirit are one god that has always existed. Not 3 like Joseph Smith taught, the also didn't progress to Godhood from manhood. To say that God at one point was a sinner is a terrible, blasphemous theology. God has already told us in Deuteronomy 13 &18 who is and is not a true phrophet from him. Joseph made many phrophecys that failed in his time. God says that's a false phrophet who is deceiving people, who needed to be stoned under the old covenant. Read the bible all the way through, read the ces letter, or Olivercowdery.Com and I hope the lord will show you as he showed be that the church has many hidden doors, and down right deceives people. Hard to hear I know, but I'll pray for you sincerely.

I'd like to ask if anyone can pray for me, my mom who's a Jahovah witness and dose not know Jesus and his gospel and my kids who don't know God because I was foolish thinking that sending them to a Catholic school would be enough to get to know God and believe in God. It crushed me when my 15 yr old little girl came home from school and told me that all her teachers with the exception of the religion class teacher did not believe in God. I really need to be delivered once and for all from cigarettes and for my kids to stop hating it when I talk about God, it's not their fault its mine. God bless you all I will also be praying for you.

I have a girlfriend who still struggles on and off, but for the most part she’s off of cigarettes. But what she would do, which I thought was really cool, was every time she had an urge to smoke she would pray for someone else she would choose a person that happened to be someone in ourBible Study, and so whenever she had that urge she would pray for our Bible Study friend. I thought that was really cool. It seem to help she said.

I don't know if it's a stronghold, but I keep getting emotionally attached to ALL of the wrong men. Even without trying, I seem to attract married men who I'm not aware are married until after the FACT. Along with that, even the single, ungodly ones often connect to me.
I want to love & be loved in a godly manner, but romance seems to be hopeless for me. WOE IS ME!! 😔 😢 😭 💔

I’m a gay man & I used to fall over and over again to sexual temptation of the same sex. I tried my very best to stay out of it & I eventually succeeded. Almost a year now of not falling to that sin. But just last month, I have a new officemate who is devilishly handsome & attractive & I swear, he is so far the guy that I liked the most. Not only he is attractive, but talented & has a great personality as well. Everything that I’m looking for a guy is in him and I hate it!!! I prayed to God so hard & asked “Why do you need to this to me?!” I tried to stay out of men, I want to change, to the point of even forgeting & ignoring my other gay friends, and now you are placing a temptation which is even closer to me?! A guy which I’m really really starting to like in my workplace that I will see everyday?! Please.. Tell me what to do!? Should I resign?! Should I ignore him & pretend that I don’t see him even if he’s just seating accross me?! I swear, I’m really starting to like him & it sparks the feeling of frustration. Because I really like him but then he is an officemate. He’s a straight guy & I won’t risk on doing something stupid in my workplace. At the same time I feel frustrated that I tried my best to refrain from these kinds of temptation, and then God would place somebody like him in my everyday life?! Is it a sin that I’m attracted to him?! And why is it God keeps on bringing me back to this stronghold??

I smoke even when im not stressed n or upset... Its physical addiction for me too. I have to feel it in my fingers. And the inhaling and exhaling. Its crazy!!!
I quit smoking from PRETENDING TO LIGHT UP WITH A IMAGINARY CIGERETTER AND LIGHTER TAKING MY IMIGINARY FIST TOKE..AND THEN TOKES AFTER..JUST PRETENT YOU ARE LIGHTING UP...GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS WITHOUT THE ACTUAL CIGERETTE THIS WORKS BECAUSE WE SMOKE TO TAKE THEAT DEEP BREATH..JUST DO THE MOTION AND TAKE THAT DEEP FIRST HIT..BUT WITHOUT THE CIGERETTE PRETEND YOU HAVE ONE IN YOUR HAND..BETWEEN YOUR FINGERS
QUIT SMOKING.. I have COPD and EEMPHYSEMA. I am living on pain and misery. I'm on oxygen and pain pills. There's no cure.

I sadly have a bad habit of social media. I want to get rid of it but need it to talk to friends far away and I sometimes use it as an escape when I have a bad day (been having alot of those lately) I wanna be in control of it not it control me. I want God to be happy with me hate making Him sad.
