Love the scene and battle where this hymn plays, as Casty powers up this deadly song to finally off once and for all what's left of Zil's misguided, fanatical soul after all the grief and pain and destruction she has caused over the years. Across Two Games.
I've beat the boss this tonight and damn this song, the scene with everyone join the Ion's cause, the song magic battle...it's so fucking badass!! I played Ciel Nosurge before so, see that after many hours were Ion's are alone vs all friends that make me so happy 😭 Ion must protect 🙏

Well yeah, in-universe you are obviously right, What I really mean is that Standard is way better at communicating with a mind of a mere human like me. Its 3 emotion words structure is easy to learn and communicates a lot of meaning that's hard to really translate, like "Ma num ra", "Rrha ki ra"
It's not just in-universe: while Hymmnos is designed for emotional expression, it does so at the expense of being a much more ambiguous language that doesn't even have all the necessary features required for proper communication. On the other hand, REON specifies clearly the verbal tenses and what nouns are affected by an adjective, among other things.
I had a look at REON now, it does seem to have a more complete grammar and is less ambiguous. I get the esthetic of a lower level programming language. If I had to write a functional piece of song magic I would rather use REON. That being said I always saw Standard's ambiguity as a feature not a bug. it's necessary to get it to feel a bit like a real language. I would say it compresses a lot of meaning in relatively few syllables still in a human-readable way
I swear I went into denial phase because I listened this before Black Bullet and have to reaffirm that this voice was the voice of the same Nanjolno from fripSide 😳😳😳

It's true that Ar noSurge is more of a story than a game. Level design, graphics, battle system, balance, farming, crafting... almost everything of the "game" is pretty lame. And it's really difficult to forgive a "video game" to be a bad "game". Even Ar Tonelico was way better. However, given its themes and story, it couldn't have been a good anime or light novel. But it could also have been a better game.

I think that song is called EXPAJA because it's predecessor of EXEC_PAJA in sorts (they both weaken the bosses)
I played the game the songs were cool but I didn't liked the game play
SupportMain (tbh the game doesnt seem as good as the wonderful epic soundtracks).
And you miss a lot on what makes the songs good without the game itself.
