Kai Brand-Jacobsen asks some important questions as to what is peace and what are the roots of violence. He gives us an amazing strategy of how we can create sustainable peace, inspiring us all to be peace builders. He has vast experience of people building peace and this video is a powerful call to action. It is inspiring and pratical the same time. Thanks Kai for your amazing work creating peace around the world.

"Why are we violent but not illiterate? Because we were taught to read."
    --Colman McCarthy
I'm one of those people lucky enough to have done a training with Kai. Peacebuilding is a set of teachable and learnable skills. There is unlimited potential for unlocking nonviolent solutions when we focus on peacekeeping, peacemaking and peacebuilding. This is a good, brief introduction to the work that has the ability to shift cultures.

Very encouraging and important for everyone to absorb. Not only is war not inevitable, by taking out the double negative you can also begin to see that peace IS inevitable. The information and skills to deal with conflict non-violently are poised to dramatically alter the entire war industry's economics and mythology. It won't "sell" any longer as a solution.

Inspiring and clear - supports those of us who work for peace and understand that we are at a stage in human history where we know better and more effective alternatives to war and violence.
