Am I weird for finding this book cozy? Let's chat about this traditional British mystery that is actually about grief, class, and other serious topics. Follow me on Goodreads: / ms-peepers
First time to view your reading corner, actually my first time to listen to a book review. But I did read many of George's mysteries, starting in the eighties and through to early 2000s. I enjoyed the denseness of her characters and the British class distinctions that you spoke of. I subscribed and look forward to other books you will discuss. Thank you.
Welcome and thank you for watching! I agree - Elizabeth George does a great job building characters and bringing in serious topics while also giving us a fun mystery.
