Indeed, it appears to be appealing at first glance, but from my perspective, there seem to be numerous limitations, particularly concerning monetization methods, as stated in the comments. Presently, I've opted for Taplink, where there are no boundaries whatsoever, offering absolute freedom! Nevertheless, Kojis are impressive as well, and I genuinely admire their design. Thanks for sharing, bro!
Never heard of Taplink, will check it out. I've found Koji to be incredibly flexible with more options than I really even know how to take advantage of.
I find Koji from the approach and the variety of functions super, but the technical execution is still very bumpy in my opinion. I have created (a relatively simple) page and tried it out on various devices and unfortunately there were often long waiting times or the page sometimes did not load at all. And the reliability and speed of such pages is simply the most important, otherwise people jump off. It would be great if they would improve these points and not only put their new budget into marketing or very specific features.
So far my experience has been that the page load is pretty long (could be from background video content), pixel plugins don't seem to be available, and the spotify link apl throws 401 errors regardless of the URL, but the Spotify player plugin does work.
Looks pretty 🔥🔥🔥 I just had people going to my web-site, but I like how easy that is to update and change the backgrounds if need be. I wonder if there is a way to incorporate there plugins with my WordPress site? 🤔🤔
Hi Prafit, there is no way to incorporate Koji plug-ins with your wordpress site; the main objective is to link to your profile rather than to have elements of your profile in other places. We hope this helps!
For now, is the best case for conversions to embed a smart link via toneden for example, and then make sure your custom conversion is setup with the smart link in meta ads manager?
Hi Andrew, thanks for the great video about this service, I just created my account :) I've been trying to figure out what's the best way to sell sheet music. The 'Sell E-books & PDFs' app looks cool but the problem is that the price ( = price of the sheet music) is at the app level, not at the file level. So if I want to sell 20 scores, I need to have 20 instances of this app, which would look quite busy on my page. Is their another app from where I could sell different files - with their own price - from just 1 app ? Or is it possible to make "folders" of apps (for example a folder of 20 sheet music apps) ? Always appreciate your content man!
Hi Adrien! We would recommend you check out Koji's digital storefront app here - withkoji.com/apps/994c1762-9973-439a-8742-07320a1f876c Let us know if there's anything we can help with.
Facebook has been giving me "optimize your landing page" suggestions when i drive traffic to my newly set up koji page. And that theres no pixel when i know there is. Very disappointing
Hey Andrew can u address the high price on conversions by iOS 14? I used to get charged 10-20 cents per link click now it’s like 1.5$ per link click…is there any solution?
Its hard to say for sure without knowing the details of your ad account / pixel and how much you've run before. As a general test i'd say try launching an old campaign exactly the same as it was before and seeing how it performs. I haven't seen too much of a performance impact since iOS14, definitely not something that makes it a deal breaker to use or not.
@@AndrewSouthworth I’ve been running campaigns for a full year. I tried relaunching great campaigns I had (couple old songs and playlist) and both go way up. Also just burned 200$ trying optimizing those but nothing worked. Thanks for replying tho I’ll definitely keep trying seems pretty awful specially when I used to get 10-20cents per link click and now they are above the dollar
Hey andrew... I cant remember which video where u mentioned there's this artist networking website you can find music professionals to help such as features and advertising, ect. Can you please let me know the site? Thanks!
So you can install a pixel on the page to track page views, but the music smart link doesn't fire events when people go to destinations (yet). I'm going to chat with them to see if they can add that feature, because I think it'd be a BIG win for all of us if they supported that.
I'm completely confused by the link to use in spotify landing page. I'm using an album URL ( as oposed to the Spotify track URL ) works better for embedding and ads, as this is a clickable link that people can also play your track from. Does that make sense ? Thanks.
@@AndrewSouthworth Spotify just told me now and i quote The difference between the two is really affected by the listener's account tier. There would be no issues if the listener is on Premium, but free users might have trouble listening to the track on demand on mobile. If half of spotfiy use phone, & half are Premium, that might mean 1/4 of audience is mute, having no access ? Thanks for reply by the way.
Koji got purchased by Linktree and then shut down. Overall I’d say linktree is probably the best now but I haven’t played with a ton lately. Some people use Komi
Some of the features on Koji let you sell products, downloads, physicals, etc... They take a percentage cut. Some of those cuts are 5%, some are up to 15%. So you never directly pay them, they only make money when you make money.

Could you please show the LIVE WITHDRAWAL METHOD you did Sir? You haven't shown us the payout yet. Creating account may be so easy but, some reviews said the payout is terrible because you would only see your money in your wallet or dashboard but you couldn't actually withdraw them immediately. How true???. Please show us your ACTUAL WITHDRAWAL because you've been using this for so many months Sir. I'm sure you were able to withdraw so many times already, am I right? Please make a tutorial on HOW TO WITHDRAW EARNINGS FROM KOJI Sir, Thanks a lot 🙏 I'm waiting
I use Later now and love it, it’s also free. You could also use linktree but it costs money. Definitely bummed that they purchased Koji just to shut it down.

this is a gamechanger, was getting sick of linktree too, perfect timing

Just found Koji this week and started it. Had webinar with them too and it’s all soo good.

Been using Koji for a minute. 💪👌
Needed this! Thanks for the video for both sharing the Koji site AND for showing how to embed so that viewers don't need to use the apps
When the music is playing embedded with the Spotify app. Will Spotify count it? 🙌🏽. Thanks boss
I think Spotify counts these as 'Other' in the 'source of streams' category. I'm not 100% sure though.
@@AndrewSouthworth thanks 🙏🏼
Just chiming in to say that Andrew is correct! Let us know if there's anything we can help with.
This is exactly what I needed!! Thank you Andrew 💣

Andrew, thanks for this. One question: if an independent artist gets all set up on Koji, would you recommend that they also have a website?

Hey how did you get verified on withkoji?
Not sure honestly. Maybe because they sponsored some videos on my channel they verified me.

I'd use the track URL as it will autoplay the specific song you send them to, the album URL will not autoplay just take them to the album.

would you still recommend koji as the best one or do you recommend another one thanks.

I'd be interested in learning how Koji makes money off of this if it's completely free - are there ads?

Cool, finally :-)
Wow this is a gamechanger!
Can you add PIXEL to Koji?
Yeah you can add a Facebook pixel to Koji. I think also google analytics.
Awesome
I love the concept, designs look great but it takes a way too long to charge...
If it’s completely free then how do they make money?

How timely given Linktree's announced new features today!
Please what features are those;? if you don't mind sharing Peace
Linktree is getting smoked by Koji right now
sick
It was! But then Linktree acquired the company and quickly shut it down 1 month later. RIP Koji.
