This nano is so relaxing to look at, especially with the right soundtrack. I would be careful with the iodine as it is toxic as a component itself not to mention its a trace element and can easily be overdosed. Tank looking great though! Marry christmas!
Hey Danny, i am wondering if you could add some tropical fish since you dont have a skimmer, filter, uv sterilizer or any other tech equipement to get rid of bacteria and waste specially in your big tank ? I want to get started in Aquariums since im was a kid specially in reef tank, but every website and youtube channel except your's are discouraging me with their 1500$ plus dollars only in equipements. You seem to have a very good minimalist setup that's working great ! I wonder if you could help me and the other to understand the maintenance simplicity of your build. Thank you
Do you have ammonia and carbon bags in your filtration? I have a fluval evo 13.5 gallon tank. I also have a 150 gallon tank. The 13.5 is kind of just there... you inside me to wake it back up. Thank you!! I almost miss the simplicity of the nano tank. The big tank is loads of work (but worth it)

To cycle my tank.So pls help I started cycling at 06/12 with dry rock and dr.Tim’s After 6 days I had ammonia spike about 5 .I show the bottle of bacteria and was expired 6 months ago.I was waiting but the ammonia was in the same level. 4 days ago I done 30 lt water change in my 80 lt aquarium and in my LFS they give me microbe lift nite out 2 to use . Today my test show me again 5 ammonia😭😭😭 I’m in right way ?pls your help!!
What was dosed in this video is what I dose once a week now, I do a water change once a week. I target feed once in a month or even less. Happy holidays!
The tank is quite small. One of the smallest wavemakers my local fish store had available was too strong for the tank. The stock return pump seemed to be enough too, especially since it's mostly LPS and soft corals.
There usually is more water movement but as you saw in the video I had it off most of the time since the camera can't handle all the water movement and makes it look pixelated on TH-cam.

Danny's Aquariums almost 1 month old. Added a blasto to see how it will do. Hasn’t opened up yet but it’s only been 3 hours! Can’t wait to see it grow

Ewok it opened up! I added a torch yesterday and my shrimp attacked it so I returned him to the store my torch finally opened up today!

Merry Christmas! Yeah it recommends dosing 1 drop daily but I do it every few days.

I do not have any filtration on this tank, other than some filter floss.
You should get a red firefish. Mine does well in my biocube 16 alone and they don’t eat much

I do a water change once a week. I don't know where to buy the bottles. The calcium and iodine is sold in those bottles.
why you don't put fish inside the reef tank?
It's a 10 gallon tank without any filtration. Without any filtration there will be too much waste build up and it'll cause problems.

Why not introduce a clam? Also your aquarium would look a bit better with and more alive with more water movement. Other then that nice.
