Nady Rei sorry I’m asking this but, I wanted to clarify if makeup that comes in a stick form like Milk Makeup is ok to travel with or does it have to follow the 3-1-1 rule?
Sofía Guevara milk makeup style stick makeup usually isn’t considered a liquid, cream, gel , or aerosol. So no restrictions. It’s like a stick deodorant. I said usually depending on the consistency of the product.

My essentials would be my Holistic Silk eye mask (the most comfortable eye mask ever), a tiny pillow, MooGoo lip balm, a massive scarf and a book.
Hi Rosie, s ome of my travel essentials that I carry are usually the ones that I use in my daily routine, one of which is my Palmers skin therapy oil as well as some moisturizers and toners as well, but also most of my makeup routine usually just relies on a tinted sunscreen, concealer and a few bits of lipstick and some shadow ❤️❤️

I would also include SPF.

Clean your seat area by all means but please stop spraying fragrances/scents on planes, it's incredibly thoughtless to inflict your choice on to others in an inclosed space. For me personally, lavender triggers migraine, so for every person complimenting you I'm sure there as many cursing you silently.
I was just on a flight from US to the UK and the woman beside me wore a heavily scented perfume... It was not enjoyable for me to say the least.

there's no need to use such a harsh tone. Firstly, she is probably flying on private flights and has her own section of the plane so she has space to do what she needs to do. Secondly when you are booking a flight you are flying with a diversity of different people unless you choose to be particular. So you are not entitled to not deal with other peoples flight regimes just because it gives you a headache. I am allergic to peanuts and every time I smell them I feel a bit nauseous, but I don't tell people seated next to me they can't eat the peanuts they have just because the smell bothers me. If you are that cranky and feel that disrupted consider choosing particular airlines that have rules against this or booking a certain spot on the plane where you don't have to deal with it. But don't call other people thoughtless for not catering your needs in the moment, because 9 times out of 10 those people are not spraying or wearing anything to bother you on purpose.
Please please please don't go on a flight and start spraying fragranced things that many of us are allergic to/irritated by. We can't get away from you and you could be causing someone an allergic reaction.

@@michellejennifer In many airlines the seats in business class are far away from each other or in completely separated cabines.Given the fact that she is considered v.i.p. I don't think that she would have lot of people near her. The main problem here is the girls that would want to copy her routine to feel more luxurious but for sure can't afford business class so they might disturb the passengers if they use all this crap.

Please done spray anything on planes! I am allergic to perfume and have had many miserable flights because of people spraying things on planes. Sometimes I'll have a reaction just to people wearing perfume.

SAME. I hate, hate, HATE people who spray things in the airplane. It makes me so sick. Even worse is when planes put out perfumes in the bathrooms (Emirates, I'm looking at you) and EVERYONE sprays them. It's awful.

Love this video, love seeing products you're trying out and recommend! I do want to say, though, as someone with a fragrance allergy, it can be really problematic to be in a plane or enclosed space where someone had spritzed room mist. I'll cough and get rashes. For people with more severe cases, they may have trouble breathing, even if the room mist seemed to just be spritzed away from them. You may not have considered--and understandably so because it's not something people without the allergies often know about--how it might be affecting other people in the plane. Just wanted to let you know!
@@abrakadeborah1398 Right! And I'm sure she doesn't even know about it. Before I had my allergy, it wasn't something I ever thought about! But now that I know--plus being someone who's affected--I'm always careful to tell people so they can start helping others with sensitivities. :)

As soon as she mentioned spraying the essential oils mist, I knew that these comments about allergies would appear. Many people wear perfume/ scented products, so it must be very difficult for those with allergies.
@@Hollins23 It is tricky to have fragrance allergies! Not fun to have to sit next to someone with a lot of perfume, but definitely worse if someone is literally spraying perfume/scented mist in the airplane.

During any flight I like to spray my face with either Avene or Evian facial spray- amazing and so refreshing

Rosie, I noticed in one of your interviews a few years ago you mentioned that you use products which do not take part in animal testing. Is that still the case? If not - can you do a video just on cruelty free products?
Fab earrings. I use Summer Fridays jet lag mask after flying as it hydrates my dry skin. Also Byredo rinse free hand wash and de Mamiel altitude oil for a calming take off x
I loved this video! It’s best if you do your skincare before the flight because of the dirty recycled air on the plane. If it’s a long flight, then reapplying a thick hydrating cream is okay.

Ah the inhaler!! I have one too - it’s so good when flying and brings back memories of when I was little and feeling poorly too! Something I like to use to is a rich hydrating mask like the Origins overnight mask and the Skyn Iceland’s eye masks are the best!! Thanks for sharing this with us, Rosie x

Very uninspiring, nothing like being a natural beauty.
Oh my goodness, if I was a passenger on a plane and someone sprayed a "room mist," I would be seriously peeved. That is not appropriate for the modern age when so many people have scent sensitivities, and is inconsiderate of other passengers. Even if it's made of "natural" ingredients, you can't be sure it won't make some other passenger's flight a living hell. Why must people have scents everywhere they go? Would it kill you to breathe whatever's naturally in the air?
Apart from the wipes, moisturizer & some of the makeup the rest of the products seemed impractical & unnecessary.

Just a little feedback from an aromatherapist and ex-perfumer... for Rosie and for everyone else here!! When applying oils or perfumes, refrain from rubbing them (wrist to wrist for example)... roll them on of course or spray them but if you rub them it damages the fragile oils, including in perfumes. This changes the scent, but even more so the therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy oils can be altered. Some of the oils are derived from flower petals and it’s like crushing the petals as you rub the oil/fragrance... bruising the flowers! If you spray too much, let it drip... including onto the other wrist 😂💖🙏
I mostly watch your videos for your soothing voice and thorough explanations

Hi Rosie, thanks for sharing your travel must haves! Could you look into more eco friendly travel products and do another review? Sadly, makeup wipes takes over 100 years to breakdown in a landfill. Could you try reusable bamboo rounds or facehalo and see if that would be sustainable? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I really like the take off, and touch down, make-up bag. I enjoyed listening to you share your products, and product knowledge, with us. I was very intrigued by that gorgeous lip oil. I always carry a toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and deodorant with me.

I love all the aromatherapy stuff, sheet masks, sip on herbal teas(I bring my own) lip masks, facial sprays Caudali is my staple and a water alkalizing toner solution I make at home to keep my skin in a ph balanced, and I must say SPF reapplication through out the travel time I'm obsessed with spf.

Great video, love seeing what you like to use on flights. For those not wanting to splurge on the Anya Hindmarch bag Space NK do something similar for £25, though it’s not quite as roomy. I feel self conscious doing minimal skin care on flights, maybe it’s different in business or first class but I think I’d terrify other passengers putting on just a sheet mask 🤣 x

I absolutely SWEAR by Huxley products (which you can find on Amazon,) when I fly. I have really dry skin, and using their anti-gravity cream, and sleeping mask right before getting on the plane really helps in making sure my skin is still moisturized and glowing when I step off the plane
I am Japanese and stunned to know how to pronounce Anya Hindmarch in a proper English way. In Japanese, it is like "Aniya Haindo-maaachi" :)
Facemasks from SK2 is also wonderful. The change in your face line and skin tone is OBVIOUS after applying it.
Now I have a new way to keep someone from sitting in the middle seat on Southwest! Nasal oil. No one will ask to sit next to anyone jamming that up their nose.
Thank you for being real and saying when your son is with you the beauty routine goes out the window. Some people make it seem like they have toddlers and still make it all happen and it’s discouraging for ones who live a real life with toddlers. It made me feel better that even a super model has a real life and not a fantasy image of her life .

You should try the Face Halo instead of the face wipes since you have sensitive skin. It's also better for the environment and I've seen many peopl rave about it (including Kaley Cuoco).
trying new skincare while traveling is actually the worst idea ever...you're skin already has to adjust to a new environment you don't want to add new products in the mix unless you're looking for a recipe for disaster

I also use the Caudelie Beauty Elixier....love it! Also some Eye Masks, because they are small and so relaxing for me. End with some Lucas Pawpaw ointment and, ready to go 😊
The one time I did an inflight routine I broke out massively, so I forego touching my face now. I make sure to wear a nice rich moisturizer, spf, and have my caudalie elixir to spray on during the flight. Now when I land, I always use the Dr Dennis Gross pads to exfoliate the top layer of skin that was exposed to the flights dry air and germs, and then I sleep in Summer Friday’s jetlag mask. I always wake up with fresh, moisturized skin that’s zit free!

Some products I like to travel with... a good hand crème, lately I've used Aveda stress-fix, lip balm always!, face mist by dermalogica (don't remember name, but has green tea in it), I also use Olbas inhaler. CONCUR on bringing sanitizers for the plane. I used to bring hand sanitizer, but I now bring antibacterial hand wipes and Clorox wipes. The hand wipes for the bathroom with no potable water, and the Clorox after encountering a hardcore food mess on the tray. A+ for the effort, but it was nasty. One thing I wish I had on my last flight is a Lisa Eldridge tip: a hydrating sheet mask.

My travel beauty bag has:
- mineral water in a spray for face
- Makeup remover like small bottle of micellar water (not wipes)
- face foaming cleanser
- face lotion
- face toner in spray
- favorite (at the moment) face cream
- hand cream
- hand sanitizer (both in a bottle and wipes)
- mini perfume bottle
- Shiseido urban environment tinted protector with SPF43
- lip balm
- cuticle oil pan
- few feminine pads
- feminine wipes
- eye drops
- nose spray
- dimenhydrinate tablets for plain sickness
- antihistamine tablets (just in case)
- Advil (never hurts to have🤗)
- tiny toothpaste and toothbrush
- floss
- cotton pads
I also make sure I have with me on the plane:
- noise canceling headphones
- pair of socks
- slippers
- earplugs
- eye-mask
- book
- my phone and few new movies downloaded to it
- couple of sandwiches and some fruit
- paper towels
- my favorite pillow and fluffy blanket
- hair brush
If I need I can take few makeup products: like lipstick (I use it as a blush as well), mascara, and single eyeshadow. My brows are always perfect and I never use anything for them.
That’s it.🤗
It freaks me out to apply skincare on the plane because of all the germs around. I never feel like my hands are clean enough to touch my face! So, I just apply my hydrating products before I leave home like a hyaluronic acid serum, eye cream, reparative moisture by iS clinical, and extreme protect spf by iS clinical. The goal is to look like a glazed donut. The only things I reapply are lip balm (I'm obsessed with Luca's papaw) and hand cream (don't have a favorite). Then, whenever I get where I'm going, I freshen up first thing with a hydrating cream cleanser and all my hydrating products again.
I've never been on a flight longer than about 5 hours though. Maybe when I get to take a longer flight, I will try to do some skincare on the plane. The nasal products and essential oils are genius! I need to add them to my carry on packing list.
The Anya Hindmarch make-up bag is expensive. A similar one is sold by Space NK and is of superb quality at an affordable price. I have one in gold and light pink.
Rosie! No. TSA regs say 10 x 100ml only in carry on. This isn’t fair. I’d love to take this much but it’s not allowed.

Absolutely love listening to your voice, its soo soothing! I use Weleda Skin Food on my face as soon as I get on the flight, then i take some Diazepam and knock myself out (i'm a nervous flyer). Handy hint for water loss and headaches on a flight, I take a few sachets of Dioralyte or Gastrolyte to stir into water and it rehydrates and helps with jet lag at the other end x
