I got into collecting hot toys when I saw the 66 Batmobile at SDCC. I’m forever in Joost’s debt for producing the car. First batch and it is perfect. If HT isn’t doing it, that’s where the jazzinc filling the gap is ideal. If HT is doing it cheaper and more consistent that’s another story.
45:21 I think expecting 2.5x the quality because it costs 2.5x the price isbkind of unrealistic. Like when im buying guitars i dont expect a Gibson les paul to sound and feel 3x better because it costs that much more than an Epiphone Les Paul. At that point its diminishing returns because it definitely will not be worth 3x the price for the minimal increase in quality sadly
Regardless though if we throw value out the window are we to expect a hot toys Batmobile to be on the same level as a jazzinc ? No absolutely not the jazzinc is being pushed as the most accurate so I have high expectations for it.
@collectibles Not meaning to sound factious, but I'm sure you know the main reason that JazzInc vehicles have a high cost is due to the low number of units (generally a few hundred), when compared to say, Hot Toys - who produce thousands. The machining of the metal molds cost is the same for both JazzInc & Hot Toys - but JazzInc are unable to offset the cost with thousands of sold products, hence the main price differential. It's economics. Thankfully, due to the USP of attempting the most accurate model possible (compared to Hot Toys efforts), JazzInc are able to appeal to customers who are willing to invest more into a model that can be seen as the best available. As a seperate issue - Can JazzInc products suffer manufacturing issues? Yes, this has, of course, been widely publicized within the community. Collectors want near perfection for such an investment, as we should. Should we complain about such issues? Absolutely. JazzInc will only grow better with such feedback, as has been subjectively proven with each progressive product they have released to market. I would suggest contacting Joost for an interview, as I have no doubt he would tackle the subject head-on.
@@mr.momcollectibles being the mod for the FB page I saw there was a SnowSpeeder post and a member said he put in 20hrs of customizing into it and your response was it should of came that way, I’ve also seen comments where you said the items should be “perfect”. Jazzinc has only the Animated Batmobile left and possibly the 97 I believe. Do you guys think that Jazzinc can improve before he runs out of Batmobiles or cars?
Strictly a cost question for you guys. There are from what I’ve seen on the page 300-700 units or so of these vehicles made and ‘89 looks like it’s well over 1k units. The cost to make these isn’t cheap, so cost has to be spread out over the units. Hot toys makes 20k plus units. So question should be asked is $1500 worth it to have JazzInc in existence and us to have all these vehicles we would never ever get from anyone else? It’s not as if JazzInc has twice the amount of profit to put back into car or pocketing. They make less per vehicle probably. Don’t think people get the $$$ aspect. These vehicles are great and such a awesome addition to our collections. Under appreciated from you guys imo. Don’t need to be fanboys and pretend JazzInc is perfect but these kinds of videos don’t do them justice and focus on negative 90% of time. Size, quality, and details are amazing. 0.0 other people are or will be making these vehicles…and for less
You obviously didn't watch as we said multiple times we want them to improve and get better as we do with other companies. I am fully aware you are a mod for the Jazzinc group so there for are going to say what you want but Jazzinc isn't perfect and as a collector paying 1500+ we dont give them a pass on things like this. At the end of the day I dont care about his profit ok, that's on Jazzinc as a business man. He wants to make a product, we buy the product and we judge the product. We spend our hard earned money on these products along with Hot Toys and Blitzway and have every right to judge how we want. Nobody forces us to buy these products its on the collectors to decided what they want to spend money on but we have right to judge. Just as you say we are being to negative, I can say you are giving them a pass for obvious reasons.

‘22 vehicle ‘wobbly wheel’…the vehicle is made with a metal axel, will not sag, all vehicles are the same and they were designed to have give and take to replicate that specific car suspension. That is not a defect. If this is something that as a whole the community doesn’t like then I’m sure Joost will take that into consideration. But the wheels and axels aren’t broken.
