as a 16 year old, i dont understand why adults give us so much more credit for doing cool shit than they give other adults, its so much easier for us for a multitude of reasons, #1 were smaller which means we have less footprint and therefore can go faster easier, #2 were lighter which means its easier to get more air, #3 were younger so we learn things much faster, and #4 were fucking stupid so we have less fear of the air and speed than adults, personally i find it more impressive when a 23 year old gets on skis for the first time ever and hits sick jumps a few years later than ive ever found being young and doing the same thing.

Your commentary to those of us who do not follow skiing:
Binds to alpha subparticle 2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels with the CNS and modulates calcium influx and the nerve terminals, thereby inhibiting excitatory neurotransmitters release including glutamate, norepinephrine, serotonin, substance P and calcitonin gene-related peptide....
But I assure you, the real excitement is looking at organic chemical models in 3D. Lots and lots of "WHOOO- HOOO"S!! THAT'S EPIC!!! TURN THAT SUBSTRATE ON IT'S HEAD!!!!"

Maybe more than these guys but you are witnessing that brief point where capability meets carelessness and I dont mean carelessness in the adult sense or in a negative way. I mean careless in the free spirit kind of way. Nothing to lose kind of way. Frankly the kind of carelessness in the fun kind of way free of consequence. Its a really magical time. But I got old and I wouldnt hit that head on with my snowboard. lol

You are 15. If you haven't fucked up majorly, you didn't went worng anywhere. Your neuroplasticity and recovery time for physical stuff is bad shit crazy and the muscles you train now in growth stick with you. No shit, don't underestimate your age😁. You could pick up pretty much anything you enjoy and even if you are not really talented with it, you would be super good (not professional) at it when you're 25. You just need do it somewhat consistently. My girlfriend gave me a slackline when I was about 16 years old. I totally sucked at it, couldn't balance on it at all for weeks. I actually wondered about that and my friends had a lot of fun, because when it was about movements I was always super fast picking new things up. Today longlines are not a problem at all and I'm only on a line a few times a year. Muay Thai I started at 19 and even got paid for fight's in Thailand shortly after... Blablabla nobody asked for advice🙃. Just thought about me that age and how I didn't actually knew how learning works and how my concept of achiving a skill was based on individual talent, while in reality it's about trying (up to a certain level). This was probably a waste of time😅
