Lt. Cdr. Bijay Nair (Retd), aged 43, is an avid runner and an Indian Naval Veteran who graduated from the erstwhile Naval Academy, Goa (presently known as INS Mandovi). He dedicated ten years of service to the Navy. He retired in the rank of Lieutenant Commander earning numerous medals and accolades. Notably, he played a crucial role in Operation Talwaar during the Kargil War in 1999, being decorated with Ops Vijay Star and Vijay Medal.
In recognition of his exceptional service, he received commendations from the Flag Officer of the Western Naval Command in 2003 and 2004. Furthermore, in 2006, he was honored with the prestigious Chief of Naval Staff commendation.
Presently, Lt. Cdr. Nair (Retd.) serves as the Associate Vice President at the National Ship Classification Society in their Promoted Organisation. In this role, he oversees Quality, Compliance, and Audits. He holds a postgraduate degree in Marine Specialization and Weapon Controls from the Navy, complemented by an MBA from JBIMS.
Beyond his military and professional pursuits, Lt. Cdr. Nair is a skilled blogger and writer, showcasing a flair for humor. He is the accomplished author of the bestselling book titled "#TheyInspire," which has garnered significant acclaim, having sold close to 3000 copies. This inspirational book stands out in its collection of stories about ordinary individuals who have achieved extraordinary feats.

Lt. Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.) served as the Youngest Panelist on the Officers' Selection Board of the Indian Navy. He is the youngest Group Testing Officer to have served in the Indian Armed Forces since 1947!
Lt. Cdr. Nikhil KC (Retd.) has also served in some coveted appointments onboard frigates in the Western Fleet of the Indian Navy, on ships of Killer Squadron, legacy bearer of 1971 war. He was also Aide-De-Camp of the Admiral Commanding Maharashtra and Gujarat Naval Area.
As Captain of the Warship - Indian Naval Immediate Support Vessel T-15, Senior Officer, ISVs (West), he spearheaded a team of 16 officers and 102 men to defend Oil-Field Exploration Areas on the Western Seaboard of India. He and his team were featured in a documentary shot by India Today TV which was aired on National Television on 26 Jan 2017. Few years back i waas in a interactive session of Nikhil sir and that time he'd the very first interaction for the people preparing for ssb most probably and damnn i went crazy with the thought process and the bluntness of nikhil sir, from that day till today, that thing nikhil sir keep continues... What a great personality whom i admiring since last 3 years. I've written everything which you shared that day and still have and i use to follow too and today even i feel so satisfied that whatever you've shared 3 yrs back, you've the same words today and i got to know very early and that's nothing that's the basic, which I'm going to implement in my upcoming ssb's and now this whole podcast is totally worth while out hours n hours to get the things in actual

Hi nice podcast with bijay bro , nik bro Mera pass bhi nahi hai SSB ka liya 11k +18% GST , apna beta ka liya but am arranging .yes he a serious student.
Took me over 3hrs to watch the entire video with little break in between as it gives insight on SSB and general life via a normal conversation between two proud veterans.Where in i as a student was able to relate to little little things throughout the video! How you were dropping subtle hints for the audience to learn from! Not to forget mentioning all the vital information being flashed on the screen such as effective intelligence and their meaning! I literally had to pull out my notebook to write all the necessary details and how you were assessing Bijay sir here and there!
Bijay sir taught me to be always proud to be where i come from! And how a supreme power is always looking after all of us! Got to learn a lot from this video!

This is Lt Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (retd.) responding to this comment. The idea behind starting "Roger that with NKC" was to educate the masses on "Officer Like Qualities", make them understand the process, explain what does it take to become an Officer absolutely clearly. I feel very happy after reading this comment that I have succeeded in achieveing my goal. Primarily this show is made for people who belong to the age group 16.5 to 27 (people eligible to join the Indian Armed Forces in the Officer Cadre), however, we hope that anyone and everyone who watches this show would either feel happy/proud or gain some or the other thing that s/he could apply in their lives to make a better version of themselves.
