    Outstanding camera angle combo bro.
I used to love this game, way back in the day.

Played that game in 1987 in Ann Arbor at the U. of Michigan at some student union.
Looked deep into finding out the robotic Centaur computer voice in that pinball game that sounded real low - and likely this was Ken Nordine providing the voice-over.
    Other Embryon memories :
---The Spinner target - I loved that sound effects when the target is spun around when the silver ball blasts through it, and especially when it coasts to a stop.
---I liked the "low heartbeats" sound effect that seem to keep any silence in this game nearly impossible.
---I also remember when the pinball hits one of the big targets in the immediate front, there is a big flash of blue and a great "spacey explosion" effect - something like you hear in any space combat in movies, like robotic wars.
Then, I was trying to figure out the details of how this pinball game computes all of your bonuses you got, plus any bonus multiplers (3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, special, etc.), at the end-of-ball-inplay. The sound effects I heard in the end-of-play bonus made Embryon much different than any pinball game that I saw. Still stuck with the difficulties on how the machine computes your bonus which makes your score from, say, 823,440 points for instance - all the way up to 1,430,250 points after all of the bonuses were added. Here is what I think what happens....
    1. The Embryon point score calculator determines the total number of targets that you hit, including any drop targets or bumpers - since any drop targets or bumpers hit gets you the first wave of bonuses.
    2. Then, Embryon determines how many times in the bonus multipler to go around the indicators for the bonus multipliers - this is what I call the second wave of bonuses, and this is when your score points can really add up. Things like spelling "E-m-b-r-y-o-n" or getting lots of multiballs will cause the bonus add circuits to go as much as 10 times around - look in that game field for the bonus multipler lights to go around the circuit - and each has its particular sound. The circuits seem to go faster on the higher multiplers and if that is so, you may be close to being an Embryon expert.
But keenly, except for nudging the machine, disrepecting the machine by pushing it too much will make the Embryon machine angry and you will be penalized with a tilt - where Ken Nordine says "Malfunction!" along with some crystal-like computer sounds like somebody playing a synth glissando 4 times downward very fast. Of course - in any tilt, any bonuses you got - are gone and taken away - and if that happens, you are hurt not seeing the bonuses add to your score because they are revoked. So basically - stay away from Embryon's "tilt" penalty, especially if it is your 3rd ball in play, and you will love this game in return.

Here are some of my Embryon Pinball game tips -
    1. Best to target the ball towards the spinner so that way the ball likely hits the bump targets, which will give you more and more points.
    2. Focus the ball towards the center targets or so, where you can try to spell E-m-b-r-y-o-n for max score possible.
    3. If there is no flipsave possible, try to avoid hitting the ball at a 45-degree angle towards the : L or R front sides ("front" means being close to you and away from the backglass) - this will likely cause the ball to go the outside lanes towards the end-of-ball-of-play hole, and you will be defenseless as you hear the computerized "downward glissando" meaning the ball in play is all over, and wait for the next ball in play in disgust.
    4. WATCH OUT FOR THOSE SIDE KICKER-BUMPERS - there are one of them for each side away from the backglass and near you. These things cause the pinball to forcibly be pushed somewhere and if you do not pay attention to the ball when it gets "kicker-bumpered", the ball will blast down right through and past your nearest dual flippers before you can hit them and the ball in play is over! Seen that happen in that game even to some of the best pinballers.

Why doesn't Pinball Arcade release this game? I've loved it since I first played it as a kid.

Funny you should ask that. They released a survey asking about Paragon vs Embryon and the voting was for Paragon. I imagine that Embryon will be coming at some point also.
