As a former lemon juicer illiterate im'ma share my experience that might explain some things. The only thing I have I have in common with these boys that I know of is, I'm also Asian and few years ago I have no idea how a lemon juicer works despite seeing one on our household for years, and it's because we barely had any use for it if we need to seperate juice from seed from oranges, lime, lemon etc. we use a strainer or a fork. But yeah we do have that thing on our household for years so I Spent years thinking what the thing is for and when I heard it's called lemon juicer spend years wondering how that shit works 😭. and yeah for most Asian household it's a bit uncommon kitchen tool to own
