Nice work. What's the move where you switch from one character and back again in one move? It appeared to do tons of absorption damage. I also noticed you favor the red dude, is there a reason for that? Do you do the "reflect damage back" block or the phase block mainly? I've been using mainly the blue dude up until this point (I'm stuck on phase 2).
The quick swap is called "assist", and it is one of the green upgrades. I used red (Aven) because he is more resistant to fire damage, and after defending enough attacks, I can use a different ability to regenerate health. While I love the kit of blue (Edda) she is weak to fire, and deals too much damage, because Demon is weak to magic attacks. As for the blocking, you want to defend the ranged attacks, and phase the melee attacks. There is no benefit from defending the melee attacks, so it's just better to avoid taking the extra damage. I parry at the start because I'm at full health, and I have to break a blue melee shield, plus the charged shield gives me a guaranteed parry for the fusion attack. Then it goes to defend fire, phase melee, heal if needed, and break shields with respective damage. The hardest part for me after getting the timings down was, dealing enough absorption damage without exhausting Demon's health bar.
@@Nightmachine I got it! Only 5 tries after reading your hints. My block timing was better with Edda so I used her for defense but used Aven as much as possible in the attack to focus on absorption damage. I ended up with a whole health bar! Thanks again!
Congrats! I'm happy to help. As for healing with Aven, it's on the Defend tree, and it's called "Assimilation" Charge hand by blocking, and absorb ranged (magic) attacks to heal. It is down the center of the tree, and takes 3 blue upgrades to unlock it fully (first unlocks the ability).
Well done! You are getting stronger every time you play this wonderful game. I'll be waiting for your Summum pass.
Thankyou! I don't yet know what Summum is, but I think I'll find out soon enough.
@@Nightmachine Summon a big green dragon, you've definitely encountered one in the game before, but it wasn't a battle. Hee hee hee hee
I see. . .
what is this game?? It looks super unique and pretty
It's called Worldless, and it's $20 USD on steam.

@@Nightmachine Thank you for such a detailed reply! How do you heal with Aven? I know the move for Edda...
