If Ben Solo had existed in this Legends universe as the eldest Solo out of Jason, Jaina, and Anakin solo, and then their's Luke and Mara's son who is also name Ben, two cousins name Ben!!!

The point where I walked away from SW in disgust. I only returned in recent years to rediscover some of the gems like Darth Plagueis. Still better than Disney.
I hate the fact that Mara was killed but I understand story wise why it had to happen.
But I feel like Luke eventually found another love interest at some point down the road.
One thing I appreciate especially in the later books is the fights becoming more and more unique and different with combinations of different weapons and styles and different environments. You still had those traditional duels but I appreciate the creativity put behind more and more of the different confrontations.
Basically the old eu did everything better.
It would have made more sense if Jacen had killed Winter. Mara is more important to the readers than she is to him, whereas Winter is basically his surrogate mother as evidenced by the Bantam era books.

I think originally Anakin solo was supposed to be in jacens place.
But back around when the njo was coming out, simultaneously around the same time as attack of the clones George Lucas didn't want people getting confused with two characters sharing the same name. As a result Anakin solo got axed in star by star
