Seems like a lot of blow by, need a compression test 😉

Blowby seemed fine by me. Cap would blow right off when you place it if it was bad. Your boost test is always going to leak through a valve UNLESS YOU PUT IT AT TOP DEAD CENTER.

I like the 5.9. And I like the idea of a sleeper Cummins

If the motor isn't on top dead thin there is a intake valve open and that's probably the problem

To find out if it's the turbo, or something in the engine, it's super easy, why dont you just disconect the intercooler pipe from the turbo, and then push the 20 psi of air in to the intercooler with out the turbo, and if it deos the same, then you will know there is, or not, something wrong in the engine.

You will have air coming out of the fill cap normally since some valves will be open and piston is bdc. However your already identified a bad turbo, so id replace that. You dont want to injest engine oil through the intake. It will mimic a bad injector(s). How much was the test kit?

Do you need to have it at TDC to close the valve and limit blow by in the test?

I just installed a full 5” exhaust on my 2017 f250. I purchased bully dog bdm delete. I hsve 11 codes pop up and limp mode. Do you have any idea what’s going on.

Bully dog and sct no longer alow emissions delete systems tunes have to get a different tuner. Just went though this with a guy that took his truck to for to fix ac and they updated his pcm. So he tried re downloading the tune and would not work. Had to get a different tuning device.

Yes make it quick and run it on your jungle juice fuels!
I cant imagine youd get 'blowing a candle out' levels of flow through even a ruined turbo...
You sure its not your pcv system doing something it shouldnt?

I hate ford because of the 6.7 I had one I had bought and it only had 70,000 miles a little old man pulled a boat with it.. it was babied and stupid thing went through a transmission,a head gaskets, and right whenever I was starting to have a little faith in it the def catalytic converter stopped up. I had nothing but problems with that thing and didn't even put 10,000 miles on it. I sold it to a friend and he 5.9 swapped it. And got rid of all the emissions now it's a great truck.
