Jamil came by JK because JK was dumped in the middle of a busy highway in Kuala Lumpur. Jamil got Shaki when he heard that macaques require the company of their own kind. And Shakina was found with her mother, who was hit by a car. Jamil got Shakina to help Shaki.
But people have dumped macaques on Jamil in the past, and Jamil has turned them over to the Malaysian Wildlife Department for rehabilitation and release.

That big guy was the male troop leader. I love watching the bsbies & juveniles! They are hilarious to watch! JK is trying to be respectful to this troop & its leaders so that a fight doesn't happen. Staring them down is one that will definitely cause the female troop leader to start a fight, which will get all the other females started. The male only steps in when necessary. There are a lot of rules within monkey troops, a lot! ❤

This video was so much fun. Jamil you sound like a kid you are so excited. Shakina made sounds like I have never heard her make before. And that troop of monkeys were very charming- they were extremely polite and friendly. And i loved that alpha- what a cool dude. JK was basically a celebrity in his limo watching how the ordinary folks live. LOLLLLL, JK is basically Denzel Washington or Brad Pitt at this point!

*They were all Pigtails in this video. I believe the big Gangster male was King of his troop. He was well groomed and masculine. I didn't see any bruises on him where he had been fighting to protect his troop. He reminded me of other Kings of my once favorite Amari's troop in Cambodia. The last one before the culling was King Skippy, he replaced King Achap. It will never be the same.😔😩😓😪😭💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙*

They would no doubt get attacked as they would be considered outsiders and not part of the troop. Also, JK & Shaki are old (26, which is comparable to a 66-year-old human. At their age, they're not as playful anymore.

JK, shaki and shakina, don't know how lucky they are. They have a nice, warm, dry home, with plenty of food, and a loving father to take care of them. While the others have to endure all kinds of nasty weather and scrounge for their own food, not to mention, being attacked by a lot of the other bigger, meaner monkeys. And no one to love them. 😩
Luckily,those monkeys outside are not aggresive.

People must stop there & feed the monkeys. That's why they were hanging around with the hierarchy monkeys up front. They eat first & if there are any leftovers, then they can have them. It's really sad! Those juveniles on the car were members of a hierarchy family. If they weren't, the alphas would reprimand them.
