I think this concept works uniquely well with drunk japanese people, they are too polite but if drunk their personality comes out a bit more easily. Other (especially western) cultures would just be quite obnoxious and loud

I live here, it's a cool place, just famous for having ex-yakuzas and criminals, when I come back from work, every night from Thursday to Sunday I see people drunk on the streets (more than what I regularly see on other parts lol)
