I would have church every Christmas. What is the point of the day but to worship God and thank Him. As a parent, to understand that God knew His birth meant His future suffering. And to offer your own child on that alter. My favorite services are the Lenten/Passover season. I want to celebrate from beginning to end, but around here no one does Maundy Thursday or Good Friday. My thoughts are that there was no point in a Baby in a Manger if there was no empty tomb. I just want to celebrate every moment and holiday that makes me remember that God is real. That God is life, and breath, and hope, and joy in despair.
