@@hardtail_reapers_mtb8014 Thanks for the sub, yeah I love it, such a great feeling bike and super capable. I tried to get a Ragley but was impossible to find one in a large anywhere 😂
@@TheMTBPOV I owned a Big Al and both Ragleys are amazing bikes. I got email notififying me that there was an Mmmbop available and got lucky enough to snatch it 😅
Nice job! I ride a hardtail on these same trails (Aliso & Laguna). Your videos help me pick the best line, especially on the drops and rock gardens. As you know, line choice is way more critical on a HT.
Thank you! I'm glad my videos help other hardtail riders navigate through these trails. We should catch a ride together, I'm always up to ride with other hardtails!
Thanks man, I think I recognize you. You got a buddy with an Mmmbop right? Would be cool to ride with you guys someday. Always good to meet hardtail riders.
Love your vids bro, I just got into mtb life. I'm currently looking into my 2nd bike. Having a hard time choosing between another 29er or get a 27.5. So pretty much a Big Al or a Mmmbop. I'm here in O.C, so all these trails are local to me.
Thanks man! I've owned both and you can't really go wrong with either. I regret selling my Big Al but at the same time I'm happy with the Mmmbop, it's slacker and I enjoy the 27.5s
Just picked up a used 2020 ragley mmmbop it's in bad shape though the owner didn't take care of it I need a new rear hub and derailleur when I get them fixed hopefully I can ride with you. What width rim do you ride with and what size tire? 🤔
Shame on the owner but happy for you bro! Definitely! Anyone is welcome to come and ride. I have the Hunt Enduro Wides, the front is 33mm and rear is 31mm . Both are 27.5
Thank you! I have a 170mm Lyrik. My first time down chutes was on a 100mm fork (2019 giant fathom) and it handled well. Lynx and rock it are chunkier so I'm not sure. I think the best thing to do would be to go ahead and try it and see how you like it.
Smashing through! Nice work way to rep brother🤙🏾
Thanks man! We gotta catch a ride together, it's long overdue lol saw a post of another mmmbop in the OC
@@hardtail_reapers_mtb8014 saw that! Sometime before Xmas or end of year fosho
Nice footage and Nice Ragley, I love hardtails myself. currently riding an Orange P7. Subbed to your channel :)
Thanks man, your bike is sweet! I subbed back 👍

Had a question... just getting into mountain biking and wanted to know of a Hardtail can ride these trails?

Great vid! How much front travel do you have? Do you think a 130 travel fork is enough for chunky trails like Lynx/Rockit/Chutes?
