- Multi Crop Separator Plus Increased active grain separation in tough conditions.
The MCS has one unique feature that sets it apart from the rest, the ability to rotate the concave up over the top of the rotary separator when it is not required. The MCS concave is moved electrically, requiring no tools. I am suprised of the small difference between this animation and my old Volvo s830 combine from 1970. It is very similar. This animation has an extra cylinder but I think it is the only difference. Interesting how the principal remains over the years and brands.

This second cylinder I see is used also for cutting the output, on ones I seen this is usually a cutting cylinder behind the sieves at the very end which can be detached

so those 2 little screw-like things at 1:34 move the grain? simple yet I've never actually thought of that as a way to move grain.
wq qwfqwf They are called augers. The one on the left moves the clean grain to the elevator that conveys it into the storage hopper on the machine. The rear one moves the 'tailings" (partially unthreshed matierial) to either the front of the large drum at the front or a separate rethresher to be separated out and then returned to the top of the upper sieve.
It's called a screw auger
