- The System we've all been waiting for the BMW M3 / M4 G80 / G82 Remus Modular exhaust.
Now with this system there are a few options that are availble however we have fitted the OPF back version on our G82 M4 as we believe this is the ideal version for the perfect level of aggression and day to day use.
Not only have we fitted the Remus exhaust but we have changed up the stance and style too but changing out the Eibach springs to give a more aggressive drop with H&R springs and to add to the aggression we have removed the M Performance carbon style kit for our new gloss black GTS Style splitter and Maxton Side Skirts.

The music playing in the background really brings out the sound of the exhaust. Good idea for adding it.

That Remus OPF back system definitely gives the best exhaust note from the S58 engine whilst still keeping within emissions regs and your MOT. Mike does the X3M comp also use a modular system as I'd like the OPF back option?

I plan on installing the Remus OPF-Back with the ECE-approved sports muffler on my G80 M3. Should I be worried about any drone noise inside the car?

Is this Remus exhaust street legal or for motorsport use only? Also how are you able to install this race system and still keep the stock cats?

Brilliant video Mike, I’ve been in debate over Akra (price to high and sound not great) the Milltek ( price ok but sound not enough) and this Remus absolutely perfect for daily also love the ride height on the H&Rs looks so much better than Eibach stance at 25mm deinately worth the extra 5mm on H&R 🫶🏻🔥👍🏻

Why did you remove the m performance side skirt? Do you have to be extra cautious when parking against a kerb since it sticks out a lot?
Nope , we fitted the black front and wanted black sides to match..
Geez, the S58 sounds nearly as bad as the S55. Surely equal length midpipes are the only way to make it sound good?
Think it’s more the 2 turbos make them sound like that , the b58 single unit sounds great
@@MotechPerformance that's exactly why they sound like that, although more specifically it's the unequal downpipe length (previous BMW twin turbos sound great eg N54). That's why the only way to make them sound good (apart from single turbo setup) is to fit equal length midpipes
Now this car looks and sounds like it should have been from factory !! M3/M4 Not a cheap car, now it looks like it is worth 80k.. P.S car nose is growing on me haha

There’s nothing you can do to make these cars sound good. Stop pretending like this is any better than stock (loud doesn’t mean better). I love the performance though, it’s saving grace.

Nope all good it keeps all the filters and cats in place

Could you legally remove OPF in UK?
Nope not really it’s for Emissions
Looking and sounding good - I do prefer this body kit. The H&R's lowering gives a more aggressive look that I think complements the grills. Also, can a playlist be created with the G80/G82 Mods just to make it easier to follow the transformation please?

I’m interested in this exhaust system. How would you order the exhaust system so that it doesn’t drone in comfort mode while preserving that signature m3/m4 high pitch screech sound like in 2:19? Would this be something that’s possible?
No you can’t sorry , to get That sound you will need to Remove the cats and opf it will drone sorry

Maybe, in the video you cant notice the noise, but it is really similar to stock. IMO you have to delete at least two GPF and to keep cats for a real 6 cylinder noise.
Yep but we did not want to remove them , if you look at other blogs we have done that tho

Very clear video, thank you. Side by side exhaust walkthrough was excellent. I agree with you about using the car daily vs removing cats etc; that would be too much. Do you know if a full exhaust (cats etc gone) would fail noise levels on track? How about MOTs?
