Thank you for sharing this information. I am Irish, about to retire and I would like to buy a LHD camper and set it up for almost continuous continental touring. I will look out for your ebook. 👍

This is all great advice. I plan to move to Germany and want to continue Van life there. I am trying to find out what an average down payment is for a new campervan.
Great stuff! Thank you Will be looking to buy a campervan by the end of the summer Or early fall Do you have any tips for non europeans? Ownership,Storage in Europe, Insurance? Thank you so much
Hello! At 2:25 you are talking about the Fiat Ducato engine. You mention "getting the right one" and that you will talk about it later. Can you elaborate? :) best regards.
Hello Nicolai, thank you for your comment. Yes bacause of collaborations even with the fist ducato it can be tricky. Their good reputation comes from the IVECO engines, how ever if you would get the 2.2 multijet (from the top of my head) for example, its a Renault engine, lower power, smaller engine and more typical issues. Online you can find a list of what Engines are build by IVECO and with that reputation it will also be a better investment because of popularity.
I think it will depend on the year, age and vehicle. All brands can be good and bad. VW is overall a brand that represents a certain lifestyle. If those specific layouts is what you are after I would say, go for it! Personally if I would get a campervan I'm leaning more towards Adria, Possl, Burstner, Knaus, Malibu which is a cooperation from Cartagho makes some too, and I was surprised by the quality of the last Eura Mobil campervans I checked out.
Is there a country that is cheaper than the others? Like is it cheaper in Spain compared to Germany? Also could you share some websites that we could use to find motorhomes?
Hello Marco, yes, some countries are definitly cheaper like Italy or France, how ever the culture is different and that makes dealing with sellers sometimes difficult and stressfull, I use Facebook marketplace a lot for Spain and for Italy I know they use subito.it and mobile.de for Germany, Marktplaats.nl for the netherlands. I'm publishing my ebook on how to buy a Motorhome in Europe soon on harroineurope.com

Hi, what is your opinion on VW California? Thanks.
