I like seeing regular people training their CBR's, nice looking girl. Don't mind the guy ragging on you for repeating your commands. Probably does not know the CBR's that well. You will find that 90% of them (the ones worth their salt) need a "STRONG" directive voice giving commands during training. I've had 5 over the past 45 years, they are a different breed, would not take another breed if you really want to hunt hard in the roughest of weather and conditions. As she grows older, she will not need many commands, then she will be your "PARTNER" and not just a tool for retrieving. Good luck.

She's turned into a hell of a retriever and quite frankly, I could 2 💩's about peoples negative comments. These dogs are very amazing retrievers with unbelievable drive. Bottom line, if you can get your dog to retrieve when you give the command, you've done your job.

If you have to shout at your dog 5x to sit….you need to go back and teach your dog to sit properly, learn from and actual trainer 🙏
Beautiful video and thanks for sharing nonetheless

Many you need to go back to basics, train a sit to be perfect, train a perfect retrieve. Why are you doing full wilderness retrieves when you have to repeat “hold x4” etc and shout at your dog. Teach her to retrieve in the garden perfectly then build up distractions.

Amazing dog and cool channel. Just adopted a chesador pup of my own. Hoping to train her similarly.

Why repeat yourself on commands "Hold" x4 ,once should be enough!

To be fair he called it a training session.

Reinforcement is part of her training

I get it's a training session, but the trainer vocals come across like he's on a tightrope and could loose control any minute.,what I picked up on straight off with the multiple commands.
If the dog had been schooled differently from day one then one command would suffice.,but each to their own though.
She's a livewire alright ,plenty exercise needed there.

@@ScottHillOutdoors Basic OB before moving on to next stage would negate the need, or is this a rescue dog?

If you stick to your training and have patience they are awesome dogs.... I have heard that labs are easier to train but I could not tell you that from experience. I can tell that the commitment from this breed is amazing...... Love these dogs
