Just a little info on the Bf 109 A engine: Junkers Jumo 210, twelve-cylinder, liquid-cooled , inverted "V", 610hp. Somewhat less power than the later Daimler-Benz DB601 at 1,175 hp. Also the A has a fixed pitch prop which limits its performance in both climb and dive. Its like having a bicycle with just one gear.
