Thanks so much, I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I love plane rides, and I’m so happy that you like my reviews of them.
good demonstration of wellington's terminal. I've never flown
in or out of wellington so I'll be trying it out soon. very helpful
I think my latest video is even better - but it's always hard to know. Hopefully you find your way OK when you are there!
This was so good! Subbed :)
Yay! Thank you!
Heard the autopilot disengage at 9:10 😲
Oh, I always wondered what that noise was, thanks! Seems like an odd time to go manual, but I guess they know what they're doing, right?
@@SupersonicKiwi you’d hope so lol
@@SupersonicKiwi I thought a flight attendant farted!
For the manual approach as Queenstown airport doesn’t have localisers or an ILS system
How long do we have grumpy? lolol.
why dont you reveal cost of tickets???
Hi there, thanks for watching! Prices vary so much that it doesn’t seem relevant. Sometimes I get flights on special, sometimes I fly short notice and it’s really expensive, sometimes the flights are paid for by someone else, and other times the booking is through my works travel agents and I don’t always see the price. It just seems easier to leave it out.
Did you know that you saw a Air New Zealand Star alliance plane retired it now
Hi! It was great to meet you the other day - I was the other random human helping out with the Wellington Flights Live stream. I hope you got some great footage, despite the wind! I just rewatched this and I still can't see the Star Alliance plane! Was it in Wellington or in Queenstown?
2:07 and it was great to see you too and I got quite good shots but not the greatest it was very very windy
@@captainjoshq300 it was very very very windy!
I didn’t even know it was you until you said oh, your captain Josh..
6:58 Jetstar's A320's now have 31 rows for a total of 186 seats. Seat Guru is out of date.
Aviator NZ 😱😱😱
Thanks for pointing this out. Seatguru has both seat maps - this 180 one and a 186 one. I tend to reply on Planespotter.net for actual configuration of the plane I'm on based on the tail number - their crowd sourced data is usually on the money, but they are showing all of Jetstar's AU/NZ fleet as 180 seats. Odd. The pitch is still 29", but frustrating to not have things totally correct... If you have a data source I'll switch to that in future, and as this video has only been out a dat I can pull it and rework that bit. Let me know, ngā mini nui!
Hey - I've been digging and Jetstar's own website says 180 on the A320's (www.jetstar.com/au/en/about-us/our-fleet) so I'm going to leave it how it is. Interestingly wikipedia notes that Jetstar's new A320neo planes will be Y186 (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jetstar_Airways#Fleet). Thanks again for pointing this out - super confusing!
Thats very old layout of checkin
I'm not sure I understand - I double checked the other day and it's still exactly the same now. What do you think is out of date in the video?
