Here's a tip from me, a non-trained police person with experience in combat situations. When there's an arrest or take down, all the other officers, if they're trained, should form a perimeter at least 6 feet around the arrest and keeping eyes out for anyone who tries to disrupt the arrest. In this case, they allowed the situation get out of hand especially in a tense situation. These are people who do not care about the law or civil order. Shouting and yelling will not stop them. They need to be arrested to the fullest extend of the law, that means anyone and everyone who tries to get involved in the disorderly conduct (i.e throwing battle, punching any officer, blocking or disrupting the arrest in progress).

In NYC they were probably released in a couple of hour's. Given an apology for being arrested . Told in NYC it's not the policy to arrest people for breaking the law it's just not done,And let me give a shout out to Mayor Adams for his tireless work to get himself on camera and the spotlight. It's got to be tough going to work, not doing anything and getting paid for it. I have a great deal of sympathy for Adams he doesn't have the luxury of simply trying to survive and make it home every night . Poor man.

Here's a tip from me, a non-trained police person with experience in combat situations. When there's an arrest or take down, all the other officers, if they're trained, should form a perimeter at least 6 feet around the arrest and keeping eyes out for anyone who tries to disrupt the arrest. In this case, they allowed the situation get out of hand especially in a tense situation. These are people who do not care about the law or civil order. Shouting and yelling will not stop them. They need to be arrested to the fullest extend of the law, that means anyone and everyone who tries to get involved in the disorderly conduct (i.e throwing battle, punching any officer, blocking or disrupting the arrest in progress).
