I wish Peter Jackson will make the prequel movie of Thranduil, and early life of his son Legolas, when his wife ( Legolas mother ) where still alive.
I think would be sooo beautiful.show they all as family , and also romantic scene between Thranduil and wife.
Its also shows how strong their love, how to face the death of his wife was a tragic and big, big lost,
in other side to explain why Thranduil became so cold lately.
ohh,,, my imagination 😁😁😁
And i think they have to hurry to make it, because the cast will geting old 😁😂😂

@@MegaMrWrong The dwarves, aligned with Sauron when he promised them gold and jewels, killed his beloved wife and stole those gems from her neck. These weren’t the dwarves of Durin though, but the Elven King is still grieving thousands of years later and cannot see a difference, especially when the Lonely Mountain dwarevs played with him in the beginning of the movie during Bilbo’s voice over when they showed him the jewels and then snapped the box shut.

he doesn’t die. it’s not clear what that artwork is depicting: but clearly not his actual death. When Thranduil went into the West, nobody knows.
But if you think Thranduil is beautiful, just wait till you meet his cousin Thingol xD. Yep, he and Celeborn have an even cooler cousin: over eight feet tall, long silver hair, and eyes as bright as stars. Elu Thingol, King of Twilight: the elf so awesome, an angel fell in love with him. No really.
