i bought the crv instead of the pilot. im happy with my purchase but ill tell you what. once my family gets bigger. i will stay with honda and move up to a pilot in the future. kinda wish i had bought the pilot now. but economicly speaking. the crv was the responsible choice.

It seems Honda wants to set a benchmark in every segment of cars they enter into. CR-V and the Pilot for example better their respective rivals on many fronts and even their recent sedans have contributed significantly to a growth in sales. The kind of engines they have come up with in the recent years are perfect for any kind of terrain. They have improved leaps and bounds in technology specially with the Honda Sensing which gives outright ease of driving. The taut interiors, the equipment and gismos on offer and the reliability of their cars is what has given them the much deserved recognition. Pilot and CR-V both fare well compared to the competition. The way you summarised all the quintessential aspects of buying an SUV was very informative and the demeanour in which you highlighted the differences between FWD and RWD chassis cleared all the confusion I had. Great effort! Looking forward to such amazing content!
Hey Joshua, The Pilot is a great SUV, the only thing working against it at this point in time is its age. If Honda were to bring out an all-new model soon, we definitely see it still being a competitive alternative.
Why do you guys always showcase full option vehicles? Is it because the dealers force you to? However towards the end, you give the price of the lowest trims (e.g. AED 129,000 for Pilot), without mentioning the Full Option Touring's price of 165,000, which you have reviewed. Isn't that misleading?

Yeah, they always give us full option vehicles. They assume they will perform better during the review.
Let's hope the Honda Pilot can handle UAE's desert, or in other words sand dunes.
