@@CHABBO Don't know if he lives/lived there, but "after" Mr. Big when in a solo carrer, Martin make a pretty great success with japanese people. Could be wrong, but i remember a special japanese release of him singing some pop/melodic tunes. Guess it was around the same time SEGA invite him to record they Daytona tracks.
I never liked CE much. Controls and sounds didnt feel like Daytona to me. That said, I think I've worn out the part of the cd the attract mlde was on. I think I've had that loop a million times. Love the song, and deserves to be remembered along the original tracks.
No this is not Crush 40. Crush 40 did the soundtrack for the NASCAR arcade literally called NASCAR Arcade. That was made in 2000. Daytona CCE was made in 1996.
God bless Sega for involving Jun Senoue in lots of games.
The library of music made by him is incredible.
And God Bless Sega for recruiting Eric Martin from Mr. Big to the project!
*GIVE ME A D, AN A, A Y, A T, AN O, A N, AN A, U-S-A HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A WINNER? DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN!*
I always knew Jesus had the best theme song
LMAO
MR. BIG !!! One of the greatest bands in the 90´s. Eric Martin / Pat Torpey / Billy Sheehan / Paul Gilbert
And that's two counts of Paul Gilbert being very loosely related to Sonic games
Love this track.
One of my favorite songs from the Daytona USA series.
I'd like to know how he got hooked up with Sega. he did the title song for the Sega CD version of Spiderman as well.
Didn't he live in Japan?

Funny fact: Mark Bussler from Classic Game Room thought this was the band Poison singing this song.
Untrue. He said “It’s as if Poison is in the room with you”, not that it WAS Poison.
I thought it was motley crue lol
Now ain't this a kickass tune! Sounds like 80s metal, which I assume they were going for. Now bang your heads to the beat!
I mean its 90's metal which can be similar
Hope I don't get copyrighted, but thinking about using this for a NASCAR anime I'm working on for the intro, mainly the second part of the track.
RyddoTakakura sounds like a good idea
Interesting premise. Reminds me of the cartoon I used to watch years ago. I doubt you'd really get copyrighted, so long as you give full credit.
How’s that been going?
Let's go away is a classic, but I think this is a better song
Sounds a little bit like top gun music but... NICE!
This song is impossible to find via lyric search unless you know its from this game
Ese Tema Es De Daytona USA: Championship Circuit Edition y De Daytona USA Deluxe
casi ningun latinoamericano se acuerda de eso :V ni cacha la cancion :V :V
Jajajaja Xdddd Es Super Cool, Rock Que Acelera Pedales
is that the vocalist from Mr big?
Indeed he is. There's even a picture of him in the OST's cover.
BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY LET'S GO RACING BOYS
I feel like this could be a sonic adventure song
this is older then sonic adventure
theme of jesus' crew from JTG.
Super Sonic - Sonic X-Treme

In game the song is not complete.
Well yeah. It's edited to match the length of the demo.
No shit it wasn't complete, it was used for the attract screen.
The band is called CRUSH 40
ChrisP-C64 the song is called sons of angles has nothing to do with the band that became crush 40

Daytona CCE was made in 1996.
Were they the same band that did one of the songs for Sonic Adventure 2?
Although Jun did music for this game, that's not Johnny Gioeli's vocals.

I'm surprised there's no Takenobu Mitsuyoshi covered edition for this song
He sang whole first Daytona USA's BGM
