Taking into account the final episode of season 5 in which Macaque was the only one who noticed the "chaos" energy around the stick, it is very likely that season 6 will begin with him suspicious. With everything that's going on and probably not revealing it to the rest of the people (Because all the monkeys refuse to talk! No surprise there -_- )

I just hope we eventually see Red Baboon and Long Armed Gibbon. Maybe they have something to do with the lost memories, who knows? Or maybe they'll know something about Wukong and Macaque's earliest past

When did Macaque make the deal and why? - (Theory I couldn’t put in the video):
It is mentioned in season 5 ep 9 by Macaque that MK is always isn’t the one who has to “sacrifice himself”.
Macaque was very clearly talking about Wukong here, meaning that, in the past, Wukong got stronger by sacrificing himself, because he though that was the only way he could protect the people he cared about (before he forgot that was the reason he became powerful, and got too afraid of death and left everyone behind. Which was mentioned by Wukong himself in the season 4 special).
So, Macaque of course wanting to protect his friend, decided he also wanted to become as strong as Wukong, hence he made a deal with someone (watch my previous video to see who I theorize that to be). Therefore, I think this happened before JTTW and the Brotherhood came into the picture, but after Wukong and Macaque became friends.

OMG this is so cool also wow I did not realize that the Lost memories would be such a big plot point when we first got hints that maybe they didn't remember everything I just thought well it's been over like a 100 or more years honestly they wouldn't remember everything correctly but I didn't think it would be this bad but now that you've pointed it out like yeah I can't believe I didn't pick up on this
SAME, I didn't realize it either, before I started working on this theory.

but in JTTW said macaque can hear past and future.but he never used it.
Could it that he also forgot that ability?like he only use his shadow powers.
But maybe in lmk he doesn’t have that ability…thought he said his full name the SIX ears macaque(even thought he only has two ears-)
Or maybe he doesn't have that ability anymore? He could of possibly traded his ability for his shadow powers then may have possibly forgotten it.

I I hear a lot of people saying that what if somebody else killed macaque and that they just alternate to make it seem like it was wukong but I like to believe that wukong did kill macaque it is just the one thing that wasn't confirmed is how it happened or why it happened
0:58 im pretty sure in wukongs instance here, xiangliue is referring to how whenever the cycle restarts everyone is reborn, so in howefer many cycles there have been xiangliuewukong have fought against and along side eachother and xiangliue, being a creature of chaos has been immune to whatever reincarnations theyve been through, not that their memories have been wiped, madaque couldve also been playing dumb/dieing and being revived made him forget but i dont think wukong forgot anything
Okay with the reveal that people will have been dying and coming back or reincarnating through a cycle I think that there were two and that's why they remember certain things but in the a couple parallels happened in one of those big parallels is when mk attack m
That's something that happened in both fights that's why they remembered it in the fight maybe ended differently both times for both of them there could have been a third fight involving everyone else that happened first with chaos and m maybe killing everyone the first time and becoming a sacrifice like I've seen a lot of people talk about where he ended up being The accidental sacrifice or whatever it was they were
And then came two other life cycles where they both fought each other again and that's when these other fights happened and they remember only different parts of the different
and that's why they can't fully remember everything because they've probably gone through maybe so many life cycles that they're only remembering fragments of different life cycles all is one story and that's why their memories about those fights in different enemies they've had who were even their friends at different points maybe aren't add up

6:19 I just noticed that during their fight Wukong is not wearing a crown, which means their fight must have taken place after the journey ended. Same in this scen 4:16 Wukong isn't wearing a crown, so I think your the timeline theory is correct but whether their fight happened after or before the the closure of DBK under the mountain is ambiguous to me. Personally, it would fit for their fight to happen after DBK was sealed under the mountain because that would explain why it's not written anywhere because Wukong's fight with DBK is the last thing Wukong does before he disappears. But also when you think about it, such a big fight goes unnoticed? It sounds a bit weird.But what if their fight happened immediately after JTTW and before the samadi fire incident?

About the pilgrims and the coma thing I think someone else did a video (I think it was RV sketch idk) that stated pigsy is a descendent of Zhu Bajie, Tang is reincarnated from the monk and sandy lost his memories and therefore has ptsd flashbacks and had to go to anger management classes. Pigsy couldn't have lost his memories because he has pictures of his family in the shop and tang mentioned meeting his family as well. I dunno if there's other pig families out there 😭 but if we assume that pigsys fam is the only pig species in their world then I feel the coma theory would be debunked??

Man,sometimes I wish that we get to see around the city again instead of just focusing on MK's family so we can expand what kind of people lives there.Cause I got so many questions: are all demons rogues/illegals like Spider Queen and those football demons or there are others like Sandy and Pigsy? (and obviously Mei's family,idk if they count since Lōng are royalties most of the time so they'll likely always be fine anyways...I think)
