It's not about one bad season. It's about him being a representative of Oklahoma State University and being a complete narcissistic asshole to fans and donors. The people with the money are tired of his BS and nonchalant attitude.
@erikbrown8844 - for anyone paying attention Gundy dropped his pack and quit after the 2021 season. He simply has no respect for anyone and thinks he is untouchable.
Alumni coaches are ALWAYS a bloody divorce. Look at Scott "I can't win as coach!" Frost. And there are plenty of examples of this, and relatively few positives. Gundy has been had growing detractors for at least since 2010.
He’s made a ton of money, it’s time for him to make on. He acts like he’s just not into it anymore. And when he’s tells the fans some of the things he has told them. That tells me he may be ready to move on or retire. Because when the big money supporters stop the money to the school until he’s out they will have no choice but to ask him to leave or they will do it. That’s if they want the money to keep coming. That’s just the way it works. Seen it to many times.
He called the fans who question his coaching losers who can't pay their bills. You know, the same ones who buy the tickets and concessions and help pay his salary.
Gundy has a TON of supporters - every opponent has great reasons to have him lead the Cowboys down, down, down. "Easy wins" and "Never a factor in recruiting" - this si why people LOVE Gundy at Okie State.
You don’t give up coaching and that’s what Gundy did. That’s an embarrassing year for the program. It doesn’t matter if he was there 50 years. He needs to be checked if not fired . Salary needs to be cut In half.
Sadly, against Gundy, OSU needs a Flexible Coach with NIL and the Transfer Portal??? But, can't blame Gundy for NOT LIKING A PAY CUT and/or how he might be handling it???
But find a coherent explanation of Gundy's elimination of Ollie Gordon as their A-#1 offensive weapon. I can't. And when I've watched the ANGER and VIOLENCE that Gordon as demonstrated after plays and towards the end of these 9 losing games, he sure doesn't LOOK like he's injured one bit. His bad attitude looks more like, "Why can't I be used MORE? Why am I not allowed to help MY team win?"
OSU doing whatever it takes to make sure they can’t get a good coach to replace Gundy. I don’t see how you can fire him for cause because he won’t renegotiate a deal you agreed to
And that's the truth. They had The Golden Egg delivered in the last 15 years with Boone Pickens. Okie State is NOT getting anymore. I KNOW Okie State fans and leaders heard of (and LAFFED AT) Nebraska for firing their last 9-win coach - and that wisdom has been on full, clear display at Nebraska EVERY season afterwards. Including the Scott "Killing" Frost years. Okie State needs to find someone better. Or shut up. The Admin has embarrassed and angered Gundy hopefully with an idea of motivating success.
Really? Can’t do any better? Look at his record against OU or any big games. The guy chokes. I still remember OSU playing an injury riddled OU and having his butt handed to him. 2 decades is one decade too long.
Zac Robinson to ride into Stillwater on a white horse and saves the program! He follows Prime Time's methods and brings a cadre of former (oSu) NFL position players to coach. The fans would eat it up and sell out the stadium with season ticket renewals. Rashaun Woods as Offensive Coordinator to start with.
Hard to believe Gundy team fell off a cliff He had a great 20 year run. No great run last forever. Gundy fired his 2 coordinator an AD made gundy re do his contracts to keep his job. Gundy will be head coach next season...
One bad season? NO, it's been FIVE. After 2020, mass exodus of talent. 2022, remember the Baylor and TCU disasters? Followed by another mass exodus (Mason Cobb, Trace Ford, and oh yeah, Spencer Sanders) plus about 20 others. Ask yourself why, because if a player wants to play somewhere else, they have to keep their mouth SHUT. 2023, OSU had to cheat to beat OU. THEN, they blew the BIG12 Title game. Then, were INEPT in the following meaningless bowl game. 2024, had 89% returning roster, a Heisman front-runner, ranked 13th after week 3. Should have lost the Arkansas game at home. That would have been a 2-10 record. NO, not just one bad season. If you think the 2024 season is tolerable, then you're really an OU fan, or gumby was right in his evaluation of OSU fans after the ASU game.
Clueless fans. Best coach you have ever had and one bad season because your NIL sucks and you want him out? Who the heck wants to live in Stillwater and coach? Good luck
Not having a care in the world about going winless in conference was very bad optics. I've never seen a man read the room worse
It's not about one bad season. It's about him being a representative of Oklahoma State University and being a complete narcissistic asshole to fans and donors. The people with the money are tired of his BS and nonchalant attitude.
I'm not a Oklahoma State fan but it sounds like to me that they want him gone
He's had a great run they're never a bad football team if they cut him loose after one year it's a travisty.
@erikbrown8844 - for anyone paying attention Gundy dropped his pack and quit after the 2021 season. He simply has no respect for anyone and thinks he is untouchable.
They've had underperformers every season... that's the travest.
Hard for me to see Gundy taking another job too far from the State of Oklahoma…. home grown guy, roots very deep, esp family. Guess we may see soon.
Who would want him now?
Alumni coaches are ALWAYS a bloody divorce. Look at Scott "I can't win as coach!" Frost. And there are plenty of examples of this, and relatively few positives. Gundy has been had growing detractors for at least since 2010.
Gundy to Arkansas please 😊
Be the man gundy do what you want
Gundy will be the first to tell you, it's all the fans fault. The uneducated ones that don't know football.
He’s made a ton of money, it’s time for him to make on. He acts like he’s just not into it anymore. And when he’s tells the fans some of the things he has told them. What kind of stuff does he tell the fans?
He called the fans who question his coaching losers who can't pay their bills. You know, the same ones who buy the tickets and concessions and help pay his salary.

110% done
They will never be better than they have been under Gundy. Back to mediocrity.
He's a man, He's 60, come after Him..😂
He's not hungry anymore
I wonder if Gundy refused to fire Dunn and athletic director had to fire Dunn and Nardo which has caused some of this
Interesting 🤔
And blame this on the agent who graduated from Tennessee.
Damn. That's cold. Gundy shouldn't sign it..and madly then fire him

They just went to the big 12 championship last year? It’d be stupid to get rid of him
But find a coherent explanation of Gundy's elimination of Ollie Gordon as their A-#1 offensive weapon. I can't. @ maybe he’s lookin out for him for the nfl idk I’m not an osu fan but I’d love to have a coach that produces 9 wins every year minus this year
OSU doing whatever it takes to make sure they can’t get a good coach to replace Gundy. I don’t see how you can fire him for cause because he won’t renegotiate a deal you agreed to
The big problem is that the Board of Regents is involved and shouldn't be!
What a joke. OSU can’t do better than Gundy.
@@SportsGuy945 haha no they can't

That last bedlam win against the sooners still has their panties in a wad
@@SportsGuy945 sure they can. This guy has squandered away so many seasons it’s ridiculous. Could never beat ou, etc.
Gundy has been there too long. Things get stale. The scheme gets old.
Keep it around

litigation to come

Da mn OSU was basically setting Mike Gundy up to either be fired or forced to quit with no huge payouts.. kinda like Mack Brown...
They slipped Gundy a Mickey Finn. 😂 💊
Those Cowboys better hope not.
He’s done ✅
Why doesn't Ok State support basketball more?
I expect that sort of behavior out of an OU booster---giving millions to buy out a coach--but not OSU!
They should

Ku could use a real coach like gundy
Then again it's a bad place lawrence KC
Go for tu
Gundy has not been very good ever since Boone Pickens passed away !
Gundy has been to Arlington twice since Boone passed away
Clueless fans. Best coach you have ever had and one bad season because your NIL sucks and you want him out? Who the heck wants to live in Stillwater and coach? Good luck
OSU can go back to irrelevancy. Hell everybody has bad seasons.
Not really irrelevant but okay lol. They are usually 2nd in the big 12
Sounds like "contracts" don't mean anything anymore to either side.
Please fire him. This would my Red Raiders so happy.
